I haven't been following the news around vbulletin lately.
What is the speculation?

Are we looking for vBulletin 3.5.5 or something new like vBulletin 3.6?

Also, any new features that are suppose to be included in the new version?
I know this is all speculation but mid as well have fun with it ;)

My guess is they are upgrading vBulletin.com to vB 3.6 alpha 1.

Yes they do...

I wouldn't think they would run an alpha 1. I would think it would be at least a beta to make it public. Who knows.

First time they used a global closed.html msg.. so could be anything!

Rumours on irc are now that it might be introducing new style or new version or fixing security holes or vbulletin 4.0, etc.

You missed the part about a new developer (gio~logist).

Basically the usual ones when one of the vB sites are down :p

3.6.0 beta 1 running on the .com now...time to start learing a new and improved vb...and get ready to convert templates ;)

Maybe if you not finished implementing all features, I would like to see in the quick search box a possibility to choose "search for titles only", thats the only thing most time to switch to the advanced search for me.
