does it show up now?
Yes.
Two things as suggestions, is there any reason you just don't update the users options instead of making a whole new option for this? and do you have any plans to add any sort of ajaxed system?
yes i do have plans for an ajax system but the problem is i don't know any ajax so i need somebody to work with becuase the guy i know who knows ajax is in france for the next 2 months :(
Doesnt work for me mate.......I still see the sigs after telling it to turn them off.
Checked the USERCP setting to see if that changed but it didnt, you know the bit where you can turn off sigs in there? Cheers. |
1.) Did you press the Don't View Sigs Option in the navbar/quicklinks?
2.) What version of vB do you have? 3.) Are you sure you didn't miss out this part in the readme: Quote:
press refresh after 2 minutes of replying and i will have posted back becuse i am currently online. |
And what about my first suggestion?

Yes mate, did those changes as above. Also just checked the user table and it does indeed have a sig column. I did press the link and it says "You no longer can view sigs", but then I go into any thread and sigs are all still visible to me. Thanks. |
can you give me the link to your forum please?
Fix: This may fix your problem or it may not...
see atachment.... |
if it still doesn't work then look in 'user' at 'sig' at your userid and note the value then open up sig.php and then refresh the sql page and see if the value changed...
If it still doesn't Work then you either installed it wrong or it's one of your mods interfearing with it or something went wrong somewhere
the admin of vbh took a look and said it was fine. just wait for more people to test it. |
i like this

I'm gettin this error:
The following error occurred when attempting to evaluate this template: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /home/pzv/public_html/forums/includes/adminfunctions_template.php(3537) : eval()'d code on line 153 This is likely caused by a malformed conditional statement. It is highly recommended that you fix this error before continuing, but you may continue as-is if you wish. any ideas? |
What version of vB are you using?
3.53
ok, read the pm.
it's workin now, thanks again man
1 suggestion tho...it brings you to a page telling you you can't view sigs anymore...maybe for the next update, it can just automatically bring you back to the thread or page you were viewing? |
yeah, well next update will be ajax so it won't have to load another page just refresh the one you have open.
ok, thanks
Could this be modified to turn off the [ img ] tag? I have users who are too lazy to go into thier settings and turn them off while they are at work. Having a button in the nav that will turn them on and off would be a godsend.
