AdminCP Todo Lists

AdminCP Todo Lists
Version 1.1

What does this do?
This mod adds a "To-do List" to your AdminCP. This allows you (and your fellow administrators) to create your own Todo lists to remind you of what you need to do :)

You can also mark items as completed, re-assign them to other admins, and much more!

Sounds great! How do I install?
Please follow the instructions in install.txt (contained within the zip) - it's only 3 steps :)

Screenshots!
See below :D

Changelog
Version 1.1: Fixed a phrasegroup bug - to upgrade, re-import the Product XML

Credits
Much thanks goes to Danny and Floris for testing the hack and their suggestions

Important: Unfortunately, my leased vBulletin licence has now expired, and I won't be renewing it until September which means I will be unable to reply to this thread, or update this mod until then. I'm hopeful that the great vBulletin.org community will step in to answer any questions in my absence though :) See you all in early September! :D

It cannot show the list on forumhome in it's current state, but it does show your todo list on the AdminCP Frontpage by default :)

I am having the same problem, is there a way to fix this? Also, will my other Admin be able to see my list or just theirs and vice versa (on the main cp page)?

Nice hack.

Alan @ CIT 05-26-2006 04:45 AM

Hi all,

Version 1.1 has been released which contains the missing plugin from v1.0 :)

This will fix the phrase bug on the AdminCP frontpage.

To upgrade, just upload the new Product XML - nothing else has changed.

Thanks,
Alan.

efil 05-26-2006 05:01 AM

Hi,

very useful hack!!!
is there a way for a reminder by email?

Developer 05-26-2006 05:27 AM

Ù‹Would be more nicer if there is a PERCENT field

kurtbarker 05-26-2006 05:49 AM

thanks for the update mate, works well :D

projectego 05-26-2006 08:33 AM

Perfect, works without Problems after the update!

FLMom 05-26-2006 10:23 AM

 YAY!! Looks much better after the upgrade :D

Thanks for all of your hard work!

jasharen 06-01-2006 02:00 PM

How hard would it be to modify the code to do the following?

- Make the list appear on the moderators control panel exactly like it does for the admin? It would be really nice to be able to task a mod as an admin.

- Add a button on the "view to do" list that allows quick link to the add new task option on the menu on the left?

bada_bing 06-01-2006 03:32 PM

Would be cool for modcp also since im the only admin on my site

Snake 06-01-2006 04:19 PM

Thanks for the update! :)

Boofo 06-21-2006 07:31 AM

Would there be a way to make this so no one else can add tasks for the Superadmin but the Superadmin themselves? And also a way for the Superadmin to clear someone else's tasks individually or wholly?

Neo_obs 06-27-2006 08:35 PM

this is a great hack it would be awesome if it could be expanded so that staff can see it on the forum and add times it needs to be done with a reminder PM

4Prometheus 11-21-2006 10:35 PM

Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to share a working hack.

Happy Holidays!

Peace.
