Ack, my tables are furbed up!
<a href="http://fuelchat.com/showthread.php?p=174" target="_blank">http://fuelchat.com/showthread.php?p=174</a>
Ok, for some reason, after a second post or so, my tables screw up. Notice on the second post how the outside table changes. And down at the bottom where the paypal button is, all that is supposed to be a white background. What do I need to look for to fix this? It's strange because it doesnt happen to the first post. |
I'm assuming you fixed this, because it looks just fine to me.
|
Well I fixed the bottom part (by filling in the background color for the footer), but not the tables. I just added a couple more tests posts. Look at the 3rd post and you will see where the outside table changes. I still cant figure that one out.
Hey... I just went to your site and got the "Appears you have not registered etc etc". Is that a hack available here? Or did you make that yourself? How would I get it? (or whats it cost if not free?) |
Yikes, that is strange.
/me scratches his head Can you post your showthread template? I'm thinking something's not closing correctly in whatever's injecting the sponsored link stuff. |
Home this shows ok..
Code:
$stylevar[htmldoctype] |

I've been farting with this for about an hour now - I think you have an extra /table in there somewhere that shouldn't be there.
I'll keep poking around. Attached is a slightly slimmed down version of the page code if someone else wants to throw it into an editor. |
I have been looking too. It's a toughy..lol
|
It's not that template. I've just popped that into my test site and it displays perfect. I've checked it in IE and FF
|
Postbit maybe? I know I have a lot of edits there. This really makes me think of a needed hack now. There needs to be one that displays the dates they were installed. I currently have 32 plugins installed. If I knew the order I installed them in, I could backtrack.
Code:
<!-- post #$post[postid] --> |
yuck! your postbit was a mess Webdude :(
Anyway I've tidied it all up, got rid of some unneeded code, and tested it. It seems to be displaying correctly on my test site. Replace your entire postbit template with Code:
<!-- post #$post[postid] --> |
No, sorry. Still getting the same :(
|
can you export your style xml then i can put it on my test site and have another look

Dont think there's any private info in it, so safe to post hopefully..lol |

So how much do I owe you and where do I send it? (preferably paypal it's faster). |
I've sent you a PM, but just a donation is fine.
Thanks BTW :) |
Ok, sent you $20. Without knowing how much trouble you had with it or time spent, that was just a guesstimate on what to send.
|
Thanks :)
It's appreciated. |
