I'm looking for a google analytics invite, does anyone happen to have one that they could send me? Thanks!

guys google doenst give us invite... they only give 5 website to use in one account.. so you should ask invite from google like I did

I submitted to get my invite, about November of last year, and just got mine this week..

I'm going to ask them for another with a different adsense account, this is very nice info to help with improving your sites. :)

It really is pretty freakin' cool. Had it running for about a month now.

I applied and got my invite about a day later. Perhaps I'm just lucky.

i have to agree, it is quite useful. not that i use all of its features (i don't run ads) but just the fun/coolness of seeing how traffic fluctuates, how it gets to my sites, etc? friggin great.

Where do you guys find it best to place the code? In a template? Or in the index.php file? I just got the invite today after a few months of applying. I want to track all my pages, so is it best to just place at the bottom of the navbar template?

yeah I finally got a invite last night too after couple of months. It doesn't really matter where you place the code as long as it is before the </body> tag.

I asked for an invite a week ago - and got my invite last night as well.

I'm not sure, perhaps because I use lots of Google's tools? I would like to say I have connections, but alas I don't. :(

i asked for one like a month ago and i got mine ...... have no idea why i got it so quick.... some mates have been waiting months

I place the code in the footer on vb.
I'm going to ask for a second invite, wonder if there is a penalty for that

Yes received my Analytics and Gmail Webmail Hosting invites last week within a day of each other. Along with the new Google Spreadsheets. :)

Got mine today after only waiting 2 days. I don't know what parameters they use but I have a fairly new and small forum. I do have adsense, adwords and a google news feed and submit a google site map.:confused:

awstats or any other webalizer type package tells you all the same information.

I have analytics for my other site... but I wanna try it on my forums.

is the footer the best place? how about the header?
have any issues in tracking all pages?

ps. you won't get penalized if the sites are different and connected to different accounts ;)

I put mine in the headinclude template works fine for me.

After a day I got my analytics :) Lets get the baby rolling.

Took me about 8 hours before I got an invite, must have been my lucky day. Now lets see how well this thing works.

It took me less than a day to get it. I have to agree that this is wicked cool!

I shut mine off it seems to lag the page sometimes.. You can see its tryin to load it when the rest of the page is already fully loaded

Google Analytics (like most ASP analytic services) monitors what happens on a page after it is done loading. Generally the application should fully load up without causing any lag but then continue to send data after certain actions occur. With most services I've used, you don't see this process but it does occur. This is how you get things like form tracking.

yeah i just use my Awstats via cpanel now...

I asked for on 2 days ago, and got it yesterday! hehe.

CAn i track 2 different subdomains in the same account?

Confirm here that if you have a gmail account you get an invite within days :-)
