hmm, very nice concept, but i'm worried about it being a pre-set gif image and not giving a true indication of what status the loading is up to...

how accurate is it? are people finding that their pages are loading when the image finishes? is it loading quicker? longer, etc

It's not like it takes 4 minutes to log in and load a page... it takes a second or two (if that.) So no, the progress bar isn't statistically accurate. Hell, neither are progress bars on my computer when copying files.

This is just an elegant dynamic graphic to look at while it redirects you. Simple and pretty. Nothing more. Expecting more than that would be silly.

Excellent work! Gives a better look for the redirection pages.

really strange.. for some reason i cant get this to work with my skins.. same with the quick reply stuff as well.. do i need to refresh my cache of my site or run something in maintenence to get this stuff to work?

I had to refresh my browser a few times to get the QuickReply one to start working...other than that it was pretty straight-forward. Certainly didn't have to run anything in maintenance.
