Warn thread bumpers by highlighting old threads
 

This simple plugin will give users a warning next to the "New Reply" button if the last reply in the thread is older than a user defined period of time. This can be used to make users aware of how old the thread is, so will limit the number of members that bump old posts.

By default the plugin will display the message if the last reply in the thread is older than 30 days.

Installation

1) Upload plugin
2) Edit one template


If you use this plugin, then don't forget to click INSTALL

if anyone has info on how to get this to display properly on the actual newreply.php page instead, please let me know.

i added in a new plugin from the newreply_start hook, but the date isn't there from $thread[last_post]. anyone know how to get that info?

I now that this is a very old hack, but it is VERY GOOD!!!

My question: How can I make this hack work only on selected sub-forums?
