Mother and Father....dead???
My parents went to Cuba 2 days ago by plane.I phoned them, nothing, mailed them nothing. It is the 3rd day they didn't reply! They always say that they arrived as soon they get out of the plane.I'm depressed. What if the plane crashed nad they died??? :(
That's highly unlikely, but I'm sure you could check with the authorities about any recent plane crashes if you want to put your mind at rest.
I know flying is the safest type of trasnport but she always write when they arrived.
next time get an itinerary from any loved one that travels. you can always call them. didn't they give you a flight number?
It's fairly safe to say it would have been on the news if a plane had crashed.
That is scary! Do you have any ideas where they were going exactly? Can you call anyone down there?
keep your hopes high man and stop with the negative thinking, I know it's hard at your situation, but think positively. Lots of things could happen when you take a vacation. I hope that they are safe and healthy where ever they are.

There could be a number of reasons why it won't work, such as her phone being incompatible with the cellphone network in the country she has gone to, or their network being down at the current time due to any number of technical faults...
Also, your network may also be experiencing some lag as I have sometimes recieved text messages days after they were sent (in the extremes) and quite frequently several hours after on the same day... I wouldn't worry - Any authorities where they have gone would have contacted you (they're not dumb they can find out who you are ;)) if there was any real trouble, and there have been no plane crashes on the news and there would have been... Chris |
If the worst happened with a plane you probably would have been contacted by now, so keep your hopes up.
Dude, you are 13 years old. Are you seriously telling me your parents left you alone with no contact information and no responsible adult in charge? Time to call the police.
Chris brought up another good point. Also the power plugs look different in diffferent countries, so if their cell ran out of battery, they might have to get a convertor to get it charged there, don't know.

Better not tell them I was taking care of two kids when I was 13 then. ;) |
Actually it depends on what state you are in as to legality. Louisiana the minimum age to be left alone or to be left alone and in charge/babysit for younger kids is 12.
Oh and if you still haven't heard from them you could contact the State Dept. to get in touch with the nearest US consulate/embassy.. is there one in Cuba? Communications could also be compromised by weather, it IS getting near storm season and some bad weather blew thru thataway over the weekend. |

So are they dead or not?

It's ok to tone down your approach, tei727. We're speaking about someone's family here. In this case, it is Ziki-Set's.
