A Challenge to You - May 1 Reboot Day
 

Hey gang, May 1 is traditionally 'reboot' day for websites. No, I don't mean reboot your servers ;)

I'm not doing anything major at EA, but will probably do some spring cleaning and tweaking of my other sites.

Are any of you going to join in the great 'reboot' project for your forums?

If so, how about posting a before and after screenshot of your May 1 'reboot' this weekend. It would be fun to see the work of vb.org participants.

LOL! On that day I'm moving to new servers for my site, changing from Apache to lighttpd, and changing from RHEL to FreeBSD. ;)

I have been working on a new version of my website but not sure if it will be finished by the 1st :(

Hmm, interesting... nah, we just did a complete overhaul of our site a week and a half ago... upgrade to vB3.5, new skins, about 70 hacks, etc. Sounds cool though, I'd not heard of this "reboot day."

nope, no restarts for me. I had my server crash the other day for some odd reason.. first time in 3 years

I need a minimum of 6 months in advanced notice. :D

No change. I've never heard of "reboot day" either.

There was one about six months ago too. I'm thinking about revamping my blog for the occasion, but not the sites - I've only just got one site online with new styles and the other site needs burning to the ground and building again which will take more than a weekend :D

I would but my server is run by illegal immigrant mice from the Mouse Nation, they are planning a walkout to sympathize with the other protests planned for that day.

Don't kid yourself, once your nerd gene kicks in, 3 days will seem too long to wait for it. ;)
