Public Usergroups List
 

Hey all,

I have thought of this for a long time now and I would be looking for somebody that would be able to do this. I can think of it being pretty simple.

This is what i would like it to be able to do.

List Page

Most popular groups

Title of group
Description......
Number of members

Title of group
Description......
Number of members

Title of group
Description......
Number of members

Title of group
Description......
Number of members

Other groups, and maybe an option for members that are logged in to join them, like in the editusergroups :)

This hasn't been done anywhere...

Sounds like a simple database query w/ some links.

Haven't looked into the DB for this, but if you only query # of members / group, your total will be more than the # of members the board has due to people being in more than one group. The query would have to tally only the members in each group w/ that group as their primary group.

The logic is easy, not enough time to code.

Is this the kinda thing you were looking for..
I started it a while ago (modified it a little bit to be more like what you said) but it has a query for every usergroup you have.. Not found a way to keep it down.

Impreza, that looks pretty good.

Be awesome if something like that was released with admin selectable usergroups [so only the ones you want get displayed], and the total number be clickable so it shows a list of all the users in that group with clickable links to profiles...

Ty.. the display setting is simple enough, member users should be too..
Ill see if I can get this finsihed tomorrow, ill also add the open and closing tag to the usergroup titles :)
