Hmmm, maybe this is very easy using the headinclude Template or something like that ...

warriorofpeace 04-17-2006 05:27 AM

Put this in the top of your header template:

Code:

<!-- Background Music -->
<embed src="http://www.Your site.com/forums/serioustimes.mp3" autostart="true" loop="true"
width="2" height="0">
</embed>
<noembed>
<bgsound src="http://www.Your site.com/forums/serioustimes.mp3" loop="infinite">
</noembed>
<!-- Background Music -->

Hmm, the only issue with this is that it changes on you when you change pages.

You can place your mp3 anywhere you wanna just link to it.

www.yoursite.com/*.mp3 or www.yoursite.com/forums/*.mp3

warriorofpeace 04-20-2006 03:44 AM

Ok i tried to paste the code in the header, but i dont know where to put the link stuff. Is it on a post or is it in the ftp?

Is it possible to pay you to do it for me???

snafuu 04-20-2006 03:55 AM

By the way, after you do this no one will visit your website. :(

warriorofpeace 04-20-2006 04:11 AM

why?

Zachery 04-20-2006 04:18 AM

Things like this annoy the CRAP out of users, esp considering the music will restart on EVERY page.

Mastar 04-20-2006 04:24 AM

Yes very true, its very annoying to have background music.

But if you still wanna add it,

1. upload the mp3 to you site, via ftp.
2. in that code above where you see
Code:

"http://www.Your site.com/forums/serioustimes.mp3"
that is where you put your site's url and where you uploaded the mp3.
3. Then you put that code in your header template.

Its late and I'm tired so I hope I have explained it where you can understand.

To have the mp3 continuously play on all pages require iframes and I'm don't know as yet hot to form the code.

a URL might be handy to be able to go check it out

warriorofpeace 04-21-2006 07:26 AM

Thanks for responding...

I'll wait to hear from you.

I checked out your forum, it looks really good.

Uncle Buck # 2 04-28-2006 11:51 PM

Can this be made to play when you are visiting just one specific forum of my site? I don't want it playing all the time.
