You use your own hacks?
 

Do you use your own hacks on your forums?I am using only 3 of them.....but as soon as I finish the one I am working on now it will be 4 ;)

Usually you'd create hacks for yourself before releasing so...

Don't know about others, but I Do use my hacks.

Yes, I use the majority of my releases..

There's only a few that I don't because they were either created as part of a request and I have no personal need for them, or because somebody else has released an extension after mine that does the job better or has more features.

I don't use all of mine. I've done stuff that was requests from other people and I've done stuff that I used on one style or another but dropped at some point. For me, I like trying new things all the time. Some of it becomes truly useful for my site. Others don't and get dropped during the next upgrade cycle.

I have couple that I made myself, but the coding is ugly and beiggner that is no worth of releasing, but I'm trying to learn right now so that one day I could create better ones :). As for couple of other ones, there not really mine cause they were custom made for my site by coders such as Cinq.

Yes, about 90% of them. Almost all mine were written for our forum, then released here later. A small minority were written for us, and then never used, and the rest are stuff done by request for other people.

I use most of them. The only ones I don't use are some simple template modifications that were requested and I thought "hey it's easy, why don't I make it?" such as userid on profile/postbit, thread count in profile and perhaps a couple others.

Looking at my profile now, I don't use one hack of mine that I released. I think I used 2 or 3 for a short while. I play a game, and when I win this game, a hack gets released.

Few hacks I have created just for my board, tailored to my needs. For example a small addon which shows an icon on the thread page when a certain usergroup posts and links to there post. Small things which improve the useability of my board. However I also use other addons and scripts, but not on a mass scale
