I upgraded to 3.5.4

Well I upgraded to vBulletin Version 3.5.4. I've created a new clean style and a few custom hacks of my own. Some constructive criticism is appreciated. :) Vist the site here: http://www.vBHackers.com

I like the new style. Never did much care for the old dark one.

Logikos 03-20-2006 08:09 PM

Thanks AWS. hoping to turn the site around in a new direction. :)

I like the fact you have a bug reporting system, I wish they had one here.

The style is pretty simple - I think more could be done to it, especially with the tables as everything there looks default and unchanged.

Thanks Tony. I did change the hacking forums some.

Though alot may look default, but I was going with a nice clean and easy to use style. I made alot of small changes. As VirtualBurn said it, depending on how well you know vB you can see quite a lot of modding has gone on. Thanks for the feedback everyone. :)

Well done man, keep it up! I like it. ;)

Nice work, only sad that we now need to look on 2 sites for hacks.

Clean and easy can still happen with changing the templates. Clean and easy doesn't mean leaving the tables and templates as they are when you get the default vB style.

Thanks for you input, though I'm not sure we're on the same page here. Some details about what is considered default would be good; being compaired to my style.

Which tables and templates are still deault aside from the postbit? I guess vBulletin.org would be closer to a default vB template then mine, judging by your comments. :p

you see how you leave a bit of a space between each forum. How do you do that, because I want to do that to my forums as well, it makes it look more seperated and less cluttered.

Mine was custom because of the announcements forum and the vBulletin Database forums. This should work in you situatoin though. ;) How To Put A Space Between Each Forum Category
