Is there such mod?
I'm building website and want to include blog feature that will use same login and password as vbulletin use (I mean each member have only one account for the forum and blogs).
Is there mod which allow to use vbulletin's auth scripts and users database? PS: Is there some directory of vbulletin mods (sorted by categories etc)? |

If you don't find what you're looking for here, you might consider integrating BlogHoster with vBulletin.
I was going to do this, but my members didn't want it. They would be perfectly happy with the vBJournal. (they don't tend to like anything that requires them to 'leave' the board.) |

Borgs8472 Sorry, my English is bad. I just do not know the keyword I should use to find what I want (do not know this term which means integrating logins, passwords etc). |

The problem is all these blogs must be connected with the website. For example if visitor goes to Paris page, he could see few blogs of different members. Also, each member could have few blogs (different visited places). |
I don't see what the problem is...
Bloghoster can be configured anyway you like, and is completely integrated into your website, and uses the same user database as your vB. If you like, you can make all of the available blog templates travel related. |

Ok, I think I see what you want...not really 'blogs, imo', they are user travelogues.
Each user would have one main profile, but they could create a new 'log' each time they take a trip. The system would then orgaize the 'logs' by location, so a user looking for 'logs' regarding PARIS, they would see a list of logs by various members. Or...if they like the way "JANE" writes about paris, they could click on her profile to read all of her logs... Is this what you want? |

Sorry, I couldn't explain exactly what I want to find. |
I don't think blogs are what you want...
What you're looking for should be fairly easy for a good programmer, however. |
you can try a couple of these:

EasyTarget Thanks. I think "Yet Another vB Login on non-vB Page" source code will help me alittle. |

Did you try the tutorials here at vb.org?
Hey ApplePro, what about doing something like a modified version of the 'hack listings' section that exists here at vB.org. Instead of posting 'hacks', members of your site could post their 'trip journal'. Right now, at vb.org, other site members click 'install', but you your site, the button could say something else... Or they could post 'comments/replies' as they can here. See this profile: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/membe...bversion#hacks Everytime a member posted a 'trip journal', it would show up in their profile. In other words, all of their different 'journals'. You could have different sections for 'European Journals', 'North American Journals', etc. THEN, you could use the MySpace Pro hack so that member's profiles look 'pretty'...and all of their 'journal links' would be displayed. Just a suggestion :) |
