Remove any empty spaces after ?> at the ecdownloads.php and it will be ok! ;)

Oops! You are correct. I had an extra space after the last ?>. Either edit your ecdownloads.php file to remove it or upload the corrected file. (I've replaced the original file with the corrected file in my first post.)

Mudvayne 03-12-2006 12:57 PM

:).. Thnx to both of u.. Thnx a lot.. Now its works..

SMO 03-12-2006 03:42 PM

Is there a way to have the downloads section list as a "page" module in CMPS instead of going directly to a whole new page? I would like to keep my CMPS parts on the left with the Downloads on the right. I couldn't figure out how to get that to work. Any help would be appreciated.

I figured to post in here since it is CMPS related.

Robbed 03-17-2006 12:52 AM

Is there a way to limit how many show up on the homepage.

I show 15 of each, I only want to show 5 of each on the homepage.

The settings for how many "tops" to show (set via admincp) apply to both ecDownloads and the vba addon.

Be sure you have upgraded to ecDownloadII version 5.0.1 : https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=120122. It contains many important fixes.:)

cookiepants 08-01-2006 03:06 PM

love this! Thaks so much

Black Tiger 09-09-2006 01:10 AM

I have 3.6 and vbA, downloads II v5.02 and this v5.0 add-on installed. I would like the width of this module to be the same width as the other modules like "stats" and "calender" etc. But this module is wider. How can I fix this?

You can have a look at www.satellitefun.org then you will see what I mean (left side column, scroll down a little bit).

RS_Jelle 09-09-2006 08:11 AM

It's just because of the large name of one of your files ;)
Quote:

Josje3.3HOT2.0NLgemonteerd
Add some spaces to it and it will be fixed :)

For example:
Quote:

Josje3.3HOT2.0NL gemonteerd
should be enough to fix it, so "gemonteerd" comes on a new line.

Black Tiger 09-09-2006 03:20 PM

Ah great thanks! That solved the problem!:)

chorton 09-17-2006 10:50 PM

In the most downloaded box is it possible to do:

Last downloaded for a period of time? Example would be Top downloads for past 24 hours or top downloads for last week?

Any idea of when this will be?

Also it would be great to have last 5 contributers rather then top contributers. Would this be possible?

Just an identifier you choose yourself, for example downloads or something else :)

@churton: I don't see the purpose of such a feature? When you compare it with your forums: you aren't going to create a list of the 5 people who posted the latest forum posts, but it's normal to create a top posters ranking.
There's no ETA, it will be ready when it's ready. But we will keep you informed in the DownloadsII thread ;)

Hel_Sir 10-04-2006 08:47 AM

Ok 2 things. 1) Can it work / be ported to work with vbPortal 3.6.0 ?
2) Can the info about latest files be put in the center, above latest threads in forum (www.glhelp.org). And then have top contributors and such on the side blocks.

Hel_Sir 10-12-2006 06:02 AM

Ok, changed to vbadvanced, almost there... I would like the description of the file also.. and download link.. how to do?
So it would look sorta like www.glhelp.org in the center there, now I achive this with first add the download, then add it to the forum with attachement, and use the news module to update the portal.. that sucks..

phill2003 10-21-2006 02:52 PM

Hi,

My block is posting the info twice in each catagory? any idea why.

Black Tiger 10-21-2006 03:01 PM

It isn't twice. Have a good look. 1 time it's most recent and 1 time it's most popular.
There is a significant difference between recent and popular files.:)
