Summary:

This is a semi-direct port of the hack located at:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=63681

The author has given me permission to re-release this hack under his 3.1.1 codebase, and as such I have converted it Vbulletin 3.5 support which involved a good many changes.

Also I changed a couple templates, and some html fixes so it will look a little better than it used to, feel free to suggest any other bugs that need to be fixed.

One last thing, although I will "Try" to get around to fixing any bugs that come in, this is NOT my hack, and therefore I will not associate myself with supporting this hack; I merely have done a service for the people that requested the port.

Again: THIS IS NOT MY CODE. AND IT IS NOT SUPPORTED.

Information:

1. Make sure you have a writable tmp directory.
2. This script only supports jpg, png, gif files.
3. I dont plan on re-writing this entire script to make it bug free, so please dont ask me to do so.

Upgrade From Vbulletin 3.x.x :

1. There is no upgrader; you just need 2 do a couple things.
2. More than likely you can leave your old vbg tables (havnt tested).
3. You _Do_ need to delete any previous settings/phrases/templates though.
4. Use phpmyadmin or w/e you use, and search your database for vbg with a wildcard it should locate anything that has that name in it; and delete them. Then follow the INSTALL.txt :)

Installation:

1. Download Zip File
2. Read INSTALL.txt
3. Click install if you like :)

1. Did some actiontemplate optimizations, so only the necessary templates are loaded on the pages needed.

To Upgrade:

Installed.. did a test and it does not display the thumbnail of the image. Any ideas?

It will display the image once you click on it for a larger view.

Ok I updated a patch.. that deals with base64_encode/decode of the images which might prevent some corruption. Other then that.. not exactly sure what the problem would be.

Installed ok, but when i goto pload, they pics dont show, lookd in database, and they are not being stored

ok, i just ran the updated file, loads the picture, but no thumbnail, same as Tracer, the picture opens, will uninstall, and retry

Cant uninstall for some reason, it wont show in the Manage Plugins screen..so i am at a total loss here..Oh dear...

You use manage products.. this is not a plugin.

ps. Made another change to how the images are shown. Overwrite vbgarage.php with the new one.

May have to delete the old images and re-add them.

I have no idea.. theoretically it should work with the old database tables, as I really didnt change the query in regards to how it reads/writes the image table.

I found something that prevent to display images.

In SQL in vbgarage_images there is a type in thats shows this " image/pjpeg ".

I have correct this to image/jpeg and image work normaly.

but when user upload image same thing happen again.

Well on my test on my local forum, i could use jpg/png/gifs. I had no problem whatsoever, like I said in my post this is Not my hack and Im not going to rewrite all the code in this hack; I might as well have made my own if I wanted to do that.

This is based on magnus version, but Im probably going to merge it with noppids code as well as he stopped all developement on his version of vbgarage anyway.

1. uninstall product
2. delete any vbgarage tables if they exist
3. in the settings, deleted any vbgarage ones..

preferably do step 2,3 from phpmyadmin.

Update:

This might fix some peoples problems with it not showing, not sure though. Make sure to test with new vbgarage.php file and uploading new images.

k, i uninstalled the profuct.
I went into my site admincp and under the "edit templates", I reverted any templates affiliated with vbgarage.
I checked in my phpmyadmin, and i do not see any vbgarage files...

am i missing something? thanks for your patience wise ones,lol

Ok, now in my phpmyadmin, i did a search for the term "vbgarage", and i came up with a bunch of hits. Do i delete each one of those? there are bout 236 matches....i am waiting cause i dont wanna f' anything up

Sorry bro, I was just putting this out for the people that needed it. I think noppids version has a few more bugs fixed and an overall better feature-set so I will probably integrate that into this version just for the sake of being more stable.

Although, the image issue being the main problem so far.. I think I fixed that with changing the image header thats used.

If enough people install this, I may consider remaking it from scratch however.. so we will see.
