I read the other thread listed below in this catagory. Reguardless of what happened, it doenst matter, atleast to me.

Just wanted to say thanks for the myspace profile layout! And can you have the mods unlock that thread as well. Alot of people had it installed and alot of good information in that thread for everyone even though you said you wont be around after today and wont keep up with that thread. Itd be helpful for those that are currently using it.

Ehhh, to be honest.. I think he had a bad attitude from the beginning.. he seemed way arrogant and was very short fused with some people..

The myspace layout thing isn't hard, and can be re-created by most anyone.. I guess if there's a big enough demand, I can throw together a new tutorial..

I thought the information her had on there was good. Had other mods/hacks that worked well with the profile.

Im trying to add videos to the profile, how people have them on myspace, but cant get them to play. Any ideas? Ive added mutli line text profile fields but they dont work.What am I missing? Also HR3rdGen also had at the top of the thread thats now locked how you can add user css to the page. Any idea baout that as well ?

Well, don't get me wrong.. his myspace layout did help out a ton of people.. but after he released that I just thought he was generally rude..

I dunno.. maybe he got bombarded with PM's with question after question and it got irritating? Who knows..

i no longer release hacks/styles anymore and i changed my name because people were doing similar stuff and i found it it easier and nicer to keep them to myself. but your work was not in vain. i definatly understand your rational

What were people doing to him? Cause from what I understand, he got caught doing some very fishy things.. it's not because of other people doing anything to him from what I know.

KT there are always 2 sides of the story and only 1 side is somewhat known, murky at best. so i put the benifit of doubt with the author didnt mean that 1 case is 100% like the other

Id like to thank HR3rdGen for getting the ball rolling on the profile customization, however taking the thread down because of "threats" was quite silly.

His mod was no more special and worth threatening over than anyone elses, it not like he put in as much effort or work as Andreas or An-Net or people like that.

Regardless, any threats he recieved he brought on himself either through his attitude (actually I always thought he was alright, I had no problems with him but others seem to have judging from the replies above) or because of his stealing and selling other peoples work.

I understand that.. I was just asking incase you knew something that us others didn't.

From what we have, he didn't come back to defend himself.. he came back to childishly remove one of his template mods and run off with his tail between his legs.

Why remove the mod? No one here at vB.org is responsible for what he did..

Then there's also the fact that he was PAID by someone to help with their profile.. then him taking his site down has affected the paying customer. After the customer asks for help, he says, "No."

Cowardly. That's all it comes down to. He had multiple threads on here complaining about the exact same thing he was doing to someone else.. then he takes it out on vB.org members.

Well, I know the whole story from the information that was sent to me. Im not going to put it out here. If he wants to talk about it, he will.

If anyone needs help with the profile modification, feel free to ask. I also have the templates.

Nothing fishy going on other than stupid people spreading rumors. You've been here since what 2004? I've been around for a while and never have had a problem with anyone.

A matter of fact I was complimanted 4 times for how I handled myself in my own thread when people started trashing each other.

I also have a beef with a local group of people who felt the need to spread rumors and email about half a dozen people along with leaving me voicemails.

And to be honest, I started that project on my orginal site, a car site, before I moved on to the social site. I quit that site for now.

I'm taking a leave of abesence to work on something bigger. If you think there is something fishy, read the thread, its here. I posted my reply to that whole I'm a theif thing.

I helped over 30 happy people privately from this site, and those of you who aren't even evolved spread crap around like mayo on the bun.

This is about as bad as the the whole omg PHOTOPOST bought vbgallery deal.

Thank you for your apperication of the orginal concept. MissKalunji I've talked with personally and worked with, and her ideas are getting better and better.

Oh and if I must get into detail, cuase I know someone will, someone started a rumor that I was selling someone elses style, which was false. Then they claimed I was stealing their code, again false, becuase the code is GNP and found freely at dynamic drive. I'll I've done is help people setup my profile hack on their site. I have helped others install the memberlist search, which has to be recoded for each site, and I was planning on releasing the usercp hack, but I dont' plan on it now.

That's wrong.. and you know it's wrong. Afterall, you did make two entire threads about how much you hate it when people rip others off.

You do have the right to refuse service, true.. I guess I'm just bothered by the fact that people are still bowing to your feet when you are a jerk, and a theif.. Just because of your myspace template mod.

I guess the fact that I really haven't enjoyed your attitude around here much doesn't help either. :shrug:

I hope the member profile (myspace) hack thread is still available when I go to look for it.. it's a great modification, and I know I'd like to use it,, just not yet

I dont care how HR3rdGen tries to cover up in his desperate reply he is just wrong on how he is handling things. He may of helped 30 private people on this site and myself being one his attitude and rudeness is un-called for. We all trusted him and even paid for his assistance with intentions that we would be of some help or open to answer a few questions here and there about the work he did but rather he shut down all his sites, updates his signature with "DONT CONTACT ME" and rudly responds to his yahoo IM with IM not helping you! RUDE RUDE RUDE those are the last 2 words I can say....

They always say help the helpless as god will reward you in the end.

i think you should ALL leave HR3rdGen to his peace. Yes we all got opinions but we must also respect his decision to leave him out of any of these troubles

I was able to resolve my issue on my own so I will leave it to piece

The author requested removal, and Staff has to follow that request.

A hack will never be restored by Staff if that is against the wish of the author.

Having answere the original question in this thread, i think we can close it.
