Which Arcade? v3Arcade or IbProArcade?
I'll be honest, I can't tell them apart. Anyone have any thoughts on which is better (and why?)
|
I use v3Arcade and think it is alot better.
|
I use ibpro and think it's a lot better :cheeky:
...don't really think there's much to choose between them... |
i use v3arcade, never used ibpro to know which is better.
|
I use v3arcade, seems "cleaner" and less cluttered to me.
|
v3 seems to be more of the standard for vbulletin.. I picked it for that reason
|
v3... cleaner as tralala mentioned before.
|
i got ib but think there both about the same
|
v3 can use ibpro's game, I think...
|
Where is the best (largest) resource for games? The v3 install only comes with about 5.
Thanks! |
I had iBpro and am running V3. I like it a lot!
|
We use v3arcade because it was coded from the ground up for vBulletin. :)

I ran v3arcade on vb3.0x for a long long time and never had a single problem (after initial beta bugs and the likes).
I ran v3arcade on vb3.5 and besides being seriously limited in features it ran smoothly again (but with the odd bug still in the system, that still haven't been fixed). I've been running ibpro for just under 6 weeks and so far i've had several bugs reported by my users, a serious exploit found that has been reported by others on here and so far been ignored completely, but with several very good features, including the tournament system, that v3arcade doesn't have. So, i'm pretty experienced with both systems and I know the code for both of them pretty well now too. Anyway, personally, I would say, if John ever gets his ass in gear and gets v3arcade back on track, gets all the extra features installed and does what he's promised, v3arcade would be by far the smoother running, better coded arcade and if he does as promised, i'm almost certain to swap back to using that, unless ibpro sorts their system out to remove the exploit and make it look better. v3arcade also seems to load a lot quicker than ibpro. You can run games for either arcade on either system. |
I still don't know where to get additional games. Can someone help?
(sorry for asking...I'm new to 'games'.) |
I can get the website a little later I forgot but I know who rembers it ;)

I got additional games by Googling ibproarcade and using the resources from the first site. |

This place has alot of ibproArcade games. Most of which work with v3Arcade.

ibProArcade is easier to install/uninstall by far. Feature wise they are almost identicle. Except for ibProArcade doesnt support ajax.
|
Because v3 has no support, I decided not to bother with it. Both seem pretty similar, though.
