Ebux for Inferno Quiz
 

This modification allows you to give your users ebux for creating and taking inferno quizzes. At some point, I may set it up so that the points vary based on the quiz score, but don't nag about it ;) I'm not promising anything.


No screen shot will be provided.
And, you must have the ebux/estore mods installed and Inferno Quiz 2.2 as well.

I will support this mod up to the point that I know the install directions are correct and will work. After that, I will not provide installation support or debug any installation errors you make. Sorry, I simply don't have the time for ongoing support and my version of Inferno Quiz is radically different from anything y'all are running.

could this be changed to point to the ucash points field

I don't know about changing it to ucash. I've never used that mod.

Instructions were very simple Amy. Tested and it works like a charm. Nice work!

ebux for quiz is nice idea.....but yet i cant made up my mind...which one will use ucash/ushop or ebux/store

things getting spreadup....if install it...& later on if install ucash/usop...
mite be a conflict.....alsa none of this two support download against ucash/ebux :devious:

ok i played with it abit and come up with a ucash alternative to be fair on amy im not gonna upload till shes says its ok.

First I switch from uCash to EBux because it's out first, then I switch back so I can use it with vB League, now this...?

It should work. If it doesn't, it's a quick thing to uninstall it.

I dont think it will cos the code is still ebux :(

Just change every "ebux" to vbbux"..

He just renamed the tables etc.. So the ebux_pointsfield phrase is no longer used..

He's using vbbux_pointsfield as the phrase. Really simple fix..

Its not that critical honestly...I never had this installed yet and I would rather wait for the update than alter the hack...

I just had to get it working as I updated to vbplaza, and had to jump on everything ebux related..

(I wish we had that game all over again, with Rex in there) :D

It cant really be that hard to change it to work for vbplaza, but it ISNT supported, so I am guessing we will have to wait for someone to rerelease this for vbplaza :(

The instructions for you to update it were posted above in the thread by another user. :rolleyes: I don't plan on updating the ebux mod on my site every other day, which is as often as that mod gets updated. When I upgrade again, I'll change the mod and post the new version.

Here's the vbbux version -- really just a matter of changing the references from "ebux" to the "vbbux." But for those who are nervous about that kinda thing, this might be helpful. Works on my 3.5.4 test board, FWIW.
