Ok then, with the recent vBLadies thread here I thought it might be a good idea to see just how many Guys v Gals there are here.

would be simplier to have a customfield where we choose to be a guy or gal... polls are always discussed... lol

Yeah but a custom field would only start a new spate of debates about upgrading and I don't want to be responsible for that.

btw, who ever mentioned about the lounge being mostly coders - I always use teh new posts function, so the thread could be almost anywhere and i'd still see it. :)

... MANY members here contacts me (and many others) about jobs to do, even if i state in my sig that i don't code anymore...

so they have in mind that i can help, i can code, i can... blah blah blah... a story in itself, as i'm not doing it !

I think they did a poll like this a while back on phpBB, had hundreds of responses, and something like 90% were male. Not a lot of girls in web dev.

I think thats why I enjoy doing it so much. It's something that you don't expect too much. A bit like getting breakdown assistance out to your car and the person who comes being a girl
