vBulletin.org Hack !!

Hello friends,

I need a Mod which is exactly similar as seen on vbulletin.org . The one where Mods are post by users with the description and others can download them and click on install.

I run a similar website which is for management students, and instead of mods these people will be posting their projects and type the description of the project and others can download it if they need.

Can anyone please post this Vbulletin.org Mod ??

I would really appreciate it !!

Regards,
Kartik Raichura.

Ohh ok, When I seen "Code Version" I thought that you meant the prefix type in the thread topic as per "[vB 3.5.3]Thread Topic here". Now that I realize that you said in postbit makes me feel that I should read a little more carefull next time :ermm:

Hellowwww..... no one to help me out in this one ??

As far as i have heard, vBulletin offers the best support. Guyz.. i really need this thing :)

amykhar 01-12-2006 01:49 PM

When you're requesting something that nobody else will use - or very few people will use - it is generally better to submit a service request and pay for the work that you "really need"

Evil X 01-12-2006 06:29 PM

^would I be able to hire you to make a no file edits thread prefix hack?

amykhar 01-12-2006 06:51 PM

Not me. Sorry. I'm swamped with my new real job. Try the service request forum.

I think this particular hack is something asked for by a lot of people. ecRelease is a great step into the right direction, gonna see what develops from that. Nevertheless a hack just like the one used at vb.org would be great to have.

tnguy3n 01-13-2006 03:50 PM

isn't there's one available at vbhacks.us?

vau7 01-13-2006 04:10 PM

Yeah but only for 3.0.9

kartik786 01-13-2006 08:47 PM

hmm.. So amy ..... you see.... many people want this hack..and i feel somewould would really help us here... i mean come on.. 18 replies .. and still no real *helpful* reply.

Its there on vb.org .. i am preety sure you guys wouldnt mind sharing it .

What version of vB are you running? I'm willing to share mine if you run vb 3.0. I wrote one for my site a few months back, but didn't got chance to port to vB 3.5 yet. Besides, i don't plan to upgrade my site for any time soon.
see it here
