MMMmm upgrading!
 

Well I was going to get an xbox 360 for my gaming goodness, but since I am wayyy too lazy to wait in lines, I decided to upgrade my laptop.

I am getting the xps gen 2 with the following specs:

I am upgrading it right off the bat to the new 7800 gtx go. Once I get I plan on flashing the bios and overclocking it to 450 core and 1200 mem.....

So what do you guys think, will I be able to play ut 2k7 when it comes out?

It has ambient light in 4 places that can change to all spectrum of colors....

I love laptops! I was going to get a nice gpu for my desktop since I have the 19 inch lcd ultra sharp in there but I love games on the go. :)

That can be interpreted in more ways than I am comfortable with.

This laptop *IS* the king of the gamers and continues to receive TOP ratings in all the PC mags. I know Alienware is prett good also, but has shit ass support/warranty/reputation compared to DELL.

I have the same one except I have these things:

2.26GHz CPU
256MB Gforce 7800 GTX
Spare Battery, cuz it DOES eat those when I fly on planes.

It smokes on FPS on Q3/UT/CS. It was a bit pricy, but it was well worth

Kickass screen, although I'd like it more if it was 15" at the same resolution. My eyes can take it.

For my desktop, I have the XPS Gen 5 ;) Fully loaded 4 gigs also.

I like to feel like I am in the game..... I have 15 inchs of goodness now with my xps gen 1.... My buddy has the one I am getting now and its such a huge difference.

I'm sure you get this all the time, but.. build one. You'd get better specs and save .. in your case, thousands.

I'm getting the 7800GTX as well, but not until next year. By that time, it will have dropped $300.

Actually, if you knew how cheap I was getting the 7800 gtx, you would hate me very very much. :)

Not to be an ahole but the 4k is not much to me honestly. Besides, I sold a few excess items that paid for much of the 4k.

Me and a few buddies have lan parties and mobility is key for me.
