I don't really know if such an Extension is already available but I don't think so. I was looking for a way to display the latest forum discussions on my Homepage - not in my vB forum. I didn't use CMPS. Another user told me that he paid for this feature because he wasn't able to find it here. However it's very easy to code this, so I did it.

This Hack uses some parts of the PEAR Database Abstraction Layer. This isn't really necessary. You could do all with the standard php functions. So you don't have to use this additional 3 files. But PEAR is a very nice class library ;)

This release is alpha state. So far it works fine. But I coded this hack in the last 30 minutes. So it could be that there is some room for improvements...

But something similar which exports the latest threads into your "Whats On Going?" table has been released. Although this looks quite nice too. Good job :)

I already saw this. There are some hacks on vBulletin.org which shows the Top Poster, The latest Threads...

But this Hacks are for the vBulletin Forum. You can't show this on your Homepage when you are using a seperate CMS on your site.

BTW: It's very simple to extend this hack and add additional features.

Pretty good for an croatian ;) . But my extension is using the PEAR library. It's very easy to extend my hack using the powerful PEAR classes...

However, I wrote that extensions because I and other people couldn't find such an extension.

Can we get this for the latest version of VB or can someone point me to something like it. I'm getting a connection failed error and there is no reason it should be doing so.

nice hack! Does it support external mysql connections? I want to install this hack on a remote server and have it display the latest threads from my vbulletin forum which is located at a different server (obviously!)

There is a problem though. It's showing 5 threads but it's showing 5 threads from earlier this month. It's not displaying the latest threads. Do you know how to fix this up?

I was wondering if it was possible to use this hack to track the latest posts by MODERATORS only? If not would you know of any?
