Looking for a Review System
 

Hi :)

Is there any Review System lying around around here...

where i can add different categorys and people can add reviews for movies, albums, books etc

If someone knows where it is or has made this can you pleaseee tell me where i can download it.

I am also looking for something similar to this. I have a reviews section on my board for general consumer reviews for books, movies, products, etc. A review system instead of individual posts would be awesome.

There's more than one commercial script. ReviewPost and Geek Article and Review system both come to mind.

But I'd also be interested in seeing alternative options.

I don't really see the need for hacking. Just create a set of forums under a root forum "Reviews", and you'll be ok ;)

It looks more professional if it's separate ;)

Evidently there's nothing non-commercial available so far, eh? I'm looking for this also.

vB-Drupal is a lot more than just a review system, but it's easy enough to turn all the other features off. And it's free.

Drupal Article Module (Drupal Story Module, which comes with the core package, would also fit the bill)

Drupal Movie Review Module

(I personally tested all three mods on a vB-Drupal site, and they work pretty well).

If you're looking for something that looks and feels more vB like, GARS is very affordable, but you can probably get very good results out of either option.

Yep. Here's a list of Drupal mods that work well.

Cool, right now im using CMPS and want to stick with that. if i iinstall the drupal with the movie review will it clash with my CMPS ?

Haven't tried that so I assume the answer would be yes. I suggest you try it out on your test site. If you don't have a test site, post the question on the vB-Drupal thread and I'm sure you'll get an answer.

Censura is nice and support is pretty good. I am really interested in hearing 2.0 got released...

GARS has a review system that is pretty good (based on an articles hack) - but Censura's will accomadate a larger database of items and vendors.

Is PhotoPost a good review system? It costs about $99...I would prefer a free one, but if there isn't any, I guess I'll have to buy it.

I like reviewpost. If you are familiar with Photopost, it has the same look and backend. You can view it @ www.custommagnums.com and www.805pride.com for a couple different ideas.

I need one that adds up total review scores....

So if 100 people reviewed something and in addition to their text put number votes out of 10 in VARIOUS catagories..

I would like the plug in to ADD UP the average scores,, and publish the results at the top next to the reviewed itesm name..
