Member's ebay linked in profile W/ image
This simple template mod is what I came up with to allow members to add their ebay links to profiles. No it's not much and nothing really original just thought I might save another novice a little time.
The instructions and image are attached. If anyone would like to add anymore to this please feel free to do so, let me know and I will update this first post with any changes. Thanks Bashy for the screenshots! |
I never really tried to share anything, not that I really could have so don't beat me up for trying :p
|
Everyone has to start somewhere :)
Nice of you to share, there may be others who want to do this and just do not know how! |

Is there a way to include my affiliate code into each instance where some adds their ebay link?
|
What a nice little addition....
I have added a transparent My eBay gif for you as well :) |

Hi
I have changed it a tad and done it so that all the user has to do is add thier ebay name to the profile box and when the image is click it takes the user straight to the members feedback :) Code:
<if condition="$post['field25']"><div class="info"><a target="_blank" href="http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=$post[field25]"> |

Kind of like Geek's Amazon hack. It detected if anyone posted an Amazon link, and then the system automatically added your affiliate code. Actually, it's Amy's hack: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...ghlight=amazon |
Sreenshots as requested, sorry i forgot to do them before now :)
I have edited it for the Postbit as well.... Also please excuse the postbit mess, so shoot me, im a sucker for hacks and mods :p Add screenies to ya zip if ya want m8, also i dont know if ya got my PM but YES you can add that code to ya zip :) |

is there anyway to add the ebay image next to the text box where the user puts his ebay name in. it would be eye catching IMO. |
