Depends what you want :)

Any specific requirements?

Otherwise, asmallorange.com is good :)

I've been using Site5 for several months now. No problems whatsoever; it's great hosting.

I personally prefer GD ( www.GeekyDesigns.com ) and the person who runs it is very well known around here, so you should be good going with him.

vBwebmaster have a section where vBulletin admins have listed and commented on various hosts --

I suggest you have a look at the Hosting forum at vbulletin.com.

When you have made a choice, investigate the experiences with that host at www.webhostingtalk.com

<a href="https://secure.hostgator.com/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=slaneaw" target="_blank">Host Gator</a> has been my host for almost six months now and they are by far the best host I've used. Since switching my sites to Host Gator over the summer I haven't had any downtime or performance issues. The one time I had to contact support to get a database imported they had it completed within the hour (My last host took three days to import a database for me ...)

I've done quite a bit of research, having gone through two moves in the past year (yeah, the old owner was an idiot when it came to that), and the best I have heard are.

www.hostgator.com (this is what my forum uses)
www.lunarpages.com
www.site5.com

We're having issues with ASO lately. Our site is dog-slow in peak times, and we're constantly getting SQL timeouts. I had one of the other guys I run the site with contact them to ask about CPU usage, logging, etc (basically the things they check when you have SQL chewing up 99% CPU use). The tech hit the site at around 9AM EST, said "it works", and got off the phone with him immediately.

So now I'm logging the CPU/SQL usage myself to try and diagnose what the actual problem is. ASO is decent for smaller sites, but when you get up there in traffic, at least in my experience so far they're a bit lax.

My .2c.

Ive had a similar experience with ASO; maybe they are not expanding their server space or hardware as necessary for their quickly growing community..

but ive finally settled with SixteenOhNine .. ive never dealt with such a solid support team.. they are also vbulletin friendly and vbulletin pros.. very reasonable rates also.. theyve just upgraded all of our packages BTW.

What server are you on? VPS? Dedicated? Shared?
