Battlefield 2 and Counter Strike Source are the main two I play right now, and I plan on getting Call of Duty 2 once I get some extra cash to upgrade my graphics card.

well since you asked, my words are: you will never get a game which is better than WoW.

Corriewf 12-05-2005 05:48 AM

Well its about 3 am here and they are calling for snow.... I am heading up to Wally World to pick up battlefield 2.

I am using my laptop as a space heater..... :)

BamaStangGuy 12-05-2005 05:50 AM

Condition Zero is about it right now.

filburt1 12-05-2005 12:26 PM

None. I used to, but I got tired of the anonymous idiciocy that reigns on online FPSs. It seems the people playing a game are inversely proportional to its ESRB rating; I played Tetris Worlds online on Xbox Live and it was all late-20s women (which still makes me wonder why I cancelled Xbox Live). Wolfenstein on Xbox Live was all cussing kids with voice filters on.

A shame, too, because there are some awesome games out there. Wolfenstein Enemy Territory is one of them but there were just too many jackasses.

Yeah there are alot of annoying people out there, that like to talk talk "lik dis because they are all haxors, and every1 else is newbs"

...but you learn to ignore them. :)

What I hate so far is that the game is never what is advertised and promised. The screenshots tend to be lies. Oh and of course they do not refund your money anymore so you get stuck with it........

Why doesnt Battlefield 2 support my gamepad.

In my house we have two accounts for City of Heroes/Villains, One Sony Online Entertainment Station Pass for Everquest II and a Disney Toontown account. I had a trial account for World of Warcraft but never bought the retail copy or fully activated it. Waiting to see what happens giftwise on my Birthday (14th) and Yule (21st). Looking forward to Dungeons and Dragons Online as well. Don't play First Person Shooters.

Like Starcraft but haven't played it in almost 2 years now.

I dont really like FPS either but me and a buddy like playing mutiplayer and thats about all that out there for mutiplayer..... I would do the sims but its a monthly fee which I think is pretty stupid since you have to buy the game....... Ughh

Wayne Luke 12-07-2005 06:28 PM

Yeah, we do the MMOs still have monthly fees but we find them fun. Plus they are cheaper than many other forms of entertainment out there.

Might try some FPS games when I get the XBOX 360 and XBOX Live. Console controllers are much better for that kind of game, in my opinion.

Revan 12-08-2005 08:35 AM

Lineage II - Not retail, priv servers. Im gonna be an event GM on CarnageL2 at some point
Guild Wars - Havn't touched it for a while, got bored of it
Final Fantasy XI - Got this 5 days ago. As soon as you get out of the grind from lvl 1-10, the game is quite frankly the best MMORPG out there. Lineage II beats it in graphics, but in gameplay FFXI > *. Im a lv 15 MNK (Monk) on Fenrir going to subjob WAR (Warrior). If you like Final Fantasy and don't play this game, then I will gut you in your sleep. If an unemployed 19 year old lazy bastard can afford it, so can you.

For me Final Fantasy was a console game. I do not want to play almost $180.00 (game w/ harddrive, network adaptor, mouse, keyboard) to pay a console game. And that doesn't even include the monthly fees. Might check out FFXII but I think the series is getting tired.

Yay for Starcraft.

I absolutely hate MMORPGs, they have taken the life of too many of my friends! Speaking of Final Fantasy... <3 FF3 and FF7

Uh FFXI is available for PC too. I wouldn't dream of playing it on the PS2 :ermm:

Wayne Luke 12-09-2005 01:25 PM

I realize that... In my house the Final Fantasy series are console games though. No desire to change that or install it on my PC which limits play time among the entire family to one computer. In my house if a game is available for a console it is bought for the console not the PC. We have enough PC only games installed.

I'm hoping FF XII will have a campaign as I don't do online gaming much. Ahh the days of FF VII and II & III :)
