Well, just that. The forum needs users! It's pretty bare.

Yeah, we just started like a week ago and we've got 79 members so far, some may say that's good for a week.

I have to keep that on? That logo has nothing to do with the site though, the url redirection is still there and the copyright is still up, isn't that fine?

id prefer the logo to be there.

Might want to do something with the Quick Link button--shouldn't be here since it's a Member thing. Might want to check the conditional tags on it (since the button's there, but when you click it, nothing happens).

If your talking about the Quick Links on my forum, it's only enabled to members who are logged in, it won't drop-down if you aren't registered/not logged in.

Skin looks good, but I can't stand adsense at the top of the page. Just clutters things up and makes it look like the admin is greedy.

Nothing personal, site looks great otherwise. :) It's just that I'm running 1600x1200 and even with that resolution, your actual forums don't start until almost 3/4 of the way down my screen.

I'd also use some kind of darker, even slightly darker background image for the areas outside of your forums. It'd make it easier on the eyes and add texture. Also, drop that "Skin by Extremepixels" tag from the bottom right, or at least make it look a little less... like more advertising.

I've never been a fan of EP skins, they all look so generic. :\

Yeah, same I'm not a fan of EP skins but we needed some to hold us off until our custom skins are done. As for the advertising tag of EP, I'm not quite sure if we're allowed to take that off..I think it's copyrighted.

Youve got way too many bad skins, which you probably didnt purchase, and just downloaded on some warez site.

I know we have those cheap skins but they were ''donated'' by a member on our site, I didn't steal them it was donated by someone so I'm not too sure if they were purchased and not used or stolen.

I'm hoping to hire a designer to design a skin for us soon.

Remove all those "cheap" skins immediately. You did not pay for them and you are using them illegally. Your host and ISP be will be notified if they are not removed.

I'm not sure if anyone already brought this up, but that domain name is extremely long.

It's a little daunting to even think about typing it in.

If I buy a shorter domain, people might not know what the forums about first, i'll think about it....maybe I can buy tbstforum.com and link it to my current forum.

Just use it as a re-direct, leave the normal domain on your DNS servers

Naw, the domain ''www.buyselltrade.com'' has already been taken and I actually like the domain we have now too so...

If having a successful site is your goal, then you should probably take a quick course in marketing. The fact that 'you' may like your URL is meaningless, unless of course you're the only one that plans on visiting the site. You should always do things from your target audiences perspective ;)

Well, the members like the domain aswell and don't really complain about it and they don't think there is a need to change it so I go by what they like aswell..
