No Credits In ACP!
 

Though I use this "hack" myself, it may be taken tounge in cheek.

Instructions
------------------------
1. Fire up your FTP program and navigate to your includes folder.
2. Open up vbulletin_credits.php and select all, then press delete.
3. Save and Upload the empty file. :devious:

Result
----------
Less clutter on main ACP page.
Faster loading?
Area can be used for other things.
Helps prevent itching and scratching.

i'm pretty sure the hack will be renamed if not moved... titles have to be descriptives, not boasting... i suppose it will be moved in the How-To's btw, this is not a hack!

i know.. but put that little sense of humor in all releases, and you'll see all newbies think we're dumb...

While I get the humour factor :) I am curious to see how Jelsoft staff will react to having their credits removed

i don't think they would complain... the credits are just an external file included, not a hardcoded syntax that would break th ecode if removed...

we already have some other hack for 3.0 that remove the quicklinks and other related infos... this is not a problem... the only point would be to remove the copyright when you did not pay for the remove...

this How-To is ok for me, just the title and the location of the hack that are not good...

They wont be amused I guess but well, they can't spot it as far as I know.

only requirment is to have "vBulletin Copyright ©2000 - 2005, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd." plainly visible on the front end

ps ive seen lesser "hacks" in release forums

Should be entitled "World's most useless Hack" ;)
