New CMS

I have an idea to rebuild phpnuke into something great while having the extensive number of mods, blocks, and modules that the original phpnuke has.
Please post if interested. |

I use vbportal as a cms, works well enough for any need I have had, and easy to add into if needed.

Ya, but it is made off of phpnuke meaning a heavy server load. I use VBadvanced CMPS right now(my site www.cnchangar.com), but I really think that it lacks a good articles system, and does not have a big community like phpnuke does. If we could rebuild vbadvanced to read phpnuke modules, or rebuild phpnuke so it actully is useful and quick, then it would be a big help to the vb community. And.... PHPnuke has a load of modules because of its age & because all of the good coders go to free, so they can work off of it and make it better. The only good solution I think would be good if no one is interested in this is to use Fenix(www.samstech.net) which is releasing the end of this month. |

So $160 for a good software is nothing IMO.
I would be happy to buy 3 of them at that price if they are half as good as vbulletin. |
Where is vbportal? vba cmps keeps giving me database errors, I therefore have to seek an alternative.
