Take out Redirection Page

I request a working Version of this Hack :)

Erwin 10-19-2002 09:01 PM

That hack works. It IS a working version. :)

I read the Thread and see some problems.
@ Erwin, which version did you install? The first or the second version? Any Problems with the polls, browsers etc.??

Erwin 10-20-2002 07:27 AM

Just use the original version, without any modifications. Everything works. No problems with anything. If you use the Quick Reply, you go back to the post. If you use the "New Reply" link you go back to the start of the thread (you lose the anchoring) but that's no big deal since most people use the Quick Reply box.

Oki. I think i will use it!! ;)
Thanx Erwin! :)

Kars10 10-20-2002 01:18 PM

works great!! Thank you Guys!! :)

Sorry, but I would not request a working Version if this was working. In the Thread many people say that they got Problemes with the Hack using Netscape or Opera, and we've still no answer for what the redirection page is needed (i can't image vB creating such a nerving page if it was useless).

Have you actually tried it using Netscape or Opera? It works. Also, the redirection page has been confirmed on vB.com to be just an information page, nothing more, nothing less.

Actually I didn't test it on this 2 Browsers, as too many people in the Thread said, it doesn't work on them. If you say it does, I'll try this out.
