Hosted VBulletin

Is it possible to setup a system like: MyIB or MyIBF? I wanted to know:

1. Is there a hack for automatic signup? Basicly a person would sign up through me and I would get the VBulletin license. Then go to a page on my site to automatically set up a vbulletin. Then I host their forum for them.

2. I forgot the second question.

Yes, it's possible with a little coding.

Note that you'll need permission from vbulletin.com which shouldn't be too hard provided you do a good system. The only note automatic signup wouldn't be possible without help from vb.com which may or may not happen. The msot realstic way would be to someone leave their license number and domain name in the signup form, after you verify those things with vb.com, you approve their account so it gets setup.

Sounds good to me. Now my only question is:

1. Is there a hack for what I am talking about or do I have to get someone to make on for me?

If I were you, I wouldn't worry about automating it.. How many are you really going to get at one time. I would take the money for the license (setup fee or whatever you want to call it), take the hosting money. Then you order the license, download it and install it.

Just my thoughts

Obviously there's no free "hack" for something as grand of this. Even if someone would write something like this, they would be nuts to give it out for free.

There is something similar I've coded in the past. It was basically a user registers for his own domain. He gets a subdomain

usersforums.mydomain.com

and he gets to have his own vBulletin but it's still using my database and my files, just gets different settings to make it possible. Some people could probably even make a business out of this like $1 or $2 per month per board or something :)

From what I read at VBulletin.com, VBullentin Hosting was set to the exact needs of a vbulletin. Does anyone know what exactly is good for VBulletin to run good? I know php and mysql and gzip wouldn't hurt but what else?
