Starbucks, Dunkin's, Home brew, other or none?

Starbucks, Dunkin's, Home brew, other or none?

So I went to Starbucks today for the first time. I know I'm way behind times. LOL Anyhow, got my their basic blend(can remember the fancy name they gave it) with sugar and cream. First I waited about 15 minutes for it. No biggy. Tasted it and wasn't impressed at all.

So I'm back to my Dunkin Donuts coffee. Well and maybe a crawler or three. LOL Thank God there's a Dunkin Donut around every corner in Florida. LOL

You love to post hahahahaha ;)

Here in MA its the same way DD on every corner so I enjoy those. When I lived in AZ they were VERY hard to find so it was Starbucks or another small chain...

I honestly like to just brew my own but as a treat I like to go to Dunkins and grab a cup and maybe a dognut hahahaha

LOL Kevin it seems like it doesn't it. Actually I've been royally screwed by a few tech and design services so I'm trying to clean up all the mess they left behind and learn this crap myself. Posting silly threads breaks up the 23 hours a spend a day trying to undo all of this-two years worth of it. In other words, I have to take a break from the tech stuff or my mind is going to explode. And my forum cannot have an political content legally, so I'm stuck venting on others-lucky vb.org. :D Plus I'm sort not able to post to my forum for other political reasons as well.

Anyhow, what is it about Ma and Dunkin Donuts? I lived there for a year and I swear I should have opened one myself as they are obviously very lucrative it seems.

I just brewed a carafe of good old fashion Folgers and it's great. Cost me all of 39 cents for the entire pot. LOL

I hear you about getting away sometimes ;)

Yeah Boston people have some weird thing with dunkins. I really don't know what it is. haha They're always busy too!! It cost some obscene amount of money to open one but there is no marketing or anything needed. So after so long they have it worked out that you should be making a profit.

Yeah I do the same thing!! You buy a big jar and it lasts forever and costs 1/10 of what they charge for a cup!! I wish I came up with dunkins... :( hahaha

I don't drink coffee every day, I might have an espresso once every 2 weeks when out.

I can't drink coffee because it feels like my internal body temperature is rising and I'm tempted to take a cold shower just to cool my body off.

For caffeine I prefer ice tea with quite a bit of sugar. I usually put 3.5 cups of sugar into a gallon of tea.

I used to like going to Starbucks, until my last job. We were given starbucks three times a day and you soon get sick of it.

I don't particularly like Starbucks. They over roast their coffee in my opinion and this allows it to become bitter and burnt.

I prefer homebrew myself. If I do go to a coffee shop, then its either Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Panera or Bianco's... Bianco's is a family owned shop that is 3 blocks from my house so its a nice morning walk to get a cup of coffee on occasion.

Coffee Bean has some really good coffee! I forgot about them! haha

I love coffee and drink loads, I love a real coffee and none of this instant crap.

Not sure if you guys have Costa Coffee in the states but just before Christmas i took a mate to the airport (Gatwick) he was going to Florida for Christmas, I called in to the costa coffee at the airpot and was shocked at the price  ?3.20

Now i try and avoid costa plenty, at the airport and pop into Starbucks instead on the way home :D

I bought one of these at Christmas ;)
