Members ID Number
This is a very handy hack to add, in our forums we have plenty members, well they might request for something, so before we reply we always check to see what's his member id is, this can help and save u time. also reminds u to change his status or promote his rank..
Open postbit Code:
<if condition="$post['joindate']"><div>$vbphrase[join_date]: $post[joindate]</div></if> Code:
<div>Member: $post[userid]</div> |
Good! Thanks...
Maybe better: <div>Member ID: $post[userid]</div> |
Thanks
|
did not show, why?
|
For displaying this when you're viewing threads/posts, you must also add it to "postbit_legacy".
Feel free to add that in your post, momo2. |
screenshot or demo of this?
|
Mouse over there name and it always shows the number... not sure why you need the number though? Just curious?

I have vBSeo and it doesn't show the number when I mouseover the name. Shows the direct url with the actual name. I actually have a feedback option in vBClassifieds where members just have to enter the member ID # to leave feedback for that member directly but before I added this there was no easy way for a regular member to view anyones #. |

Just another meaningless number to be proud of besides post count. :D |
No dismas, its not true in a large forum 170K members, like mine we need to monitor members posts, and when our staffs check their posts, first thing we do we look at their ID to know if he is one of our old member or not.. this save u a lot of time and no need to keep checking profiles.. and its true with SEO u will see links rather members id..
