Create new portal

How do I create an integrated new portal with stats, polls and lastest news like this site here: http://www.coolscifi.com/

Anyone who can point me in the right direction or offer to help me do this (will be payed)?

Yep, as BigJohnny mentioned, I am running vBadvanced CMPS for the front page. It's a free (as in beer) portal application that is quite versatile. I have a few non-stock modules in use on that page, in particular the gallery module at the top, the 'welcome guest' at the top, and the upcoming events at the bottom. The 'latest articles' module is a copy of the standard 'latest threads' module with some tweaks.

If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up over at vBadvanced (you can find me as KW802 over there as well ;)).

Not true; you just have not gotten familiar with it yet, that is all. Once you get familiar & comfortable working within the vBulletin environment & add-ons you will quickly master them.

Sure? Atm I very much doubt that but I havent given up just yet :D

Still having problems though. I cant get this to work....

What part cant you get to work?

If its the path, you can use the script kw linked you to find it.

You can also find your path via the phpinfo page in the maintenance section of the vb admincp.

Last box at the bottom:
_SERVER["SCRIPT_FILENAME"] /home/username/public_html/forums/admincp/ <--Path

I think I have tried just about anything?

I have just gone through all the files again, doublechecked that all are uploaded the right places, inserted the correct adress (tried it your way with finding the right path through the maintenance section and still I get absolutly nothing

Its the same error that keeps showing up no matter what I do:
Invalid forum path specified! Please edit this file and be sure to include the correct path for your $forumpath variable

I have now tried to do it as the guide says, as KW802 says and as you says. Nothing...

Any other suggestions?

My pc is so close to get thrown out the window right now - fully aware that its me being an idiot - not the pc)

Talk-Pets, if you want, submit a Support Ticket over at vBa with my Attn. in the comments and I will take a look when I get home tonight. I'm tied up at the office right now but Friday nights are usually my "TV & Pizza" night so I will be free this evening.
