Installed Mods

It's nice to have them listed, but what good is it the way it is sorted?

Can it be sorted by installed dates, instead of having them jump up and down according to last posts? Having an installed date would be most useful, specially when we need to track down latest installed in order to troubleshoot.

And an uninstall all button...

I shall notify the Admins about this as I think these are good suggestions :)

Some Ajax uninstall would be cool too :D

Dismounted 09-10-2007 06:38 AM

Uninstalling is already AJAX'd. :S

Chris M 09-10-2007 06:39 AM

There is no AJAX... :)

Well there is but it felt like a Matrix moment...

I doubt that would be implemented as that would be quite server intensive, especially with 250+ mods installed ;)

Unless you mean individually... But I hardly see the point...

That's not so important as much as having them sorted by date. Sorting by date I think is vital. Sometimes we install a mod then we encounter troubles a week or two later. Then it is a big hassle having to remember which one was last installed.

I just thought it could have been cool for us to have our little accounting corner where we could manage our installed mods by uninstalling them directly instead of having to look for the thread. Everybody having such a space simply ensure loyalty, and feels secure to know that we are organized.

Dismounted 09-10-2007 06:54 AM

I swear I remember that I could uninstall directly from the Installed Mods page. There used to be a small "Mark As Uninstalled" link. :S
