buying ribbons for others
 

is there a way i can enable that? right now, i can buy ribbons for myself or is that the way it's supposed to be?

go to

Admin CP -> vbPlaza -> Manage Options ->

click Awareness Ribbons

scroll to the bottom

Change Users Can Buy Others a Ribbon? to yes

This option is on the far right of the page under Option Value

I read that in another thread and I don't have that. I have

Admin CP -> VbPlaza -> Manage Settings
Admin CP -> VbPlaza -> Manage Categories
Admin CP -> VbPlaza -> Items
Admin CP -> VbPlaza -> Add A New Category
Admin CP -> VbPlaza -> Add New Option
Admin CP -> VbPlaza -> Add Option Copy
Admin CP -> VbPlaza -> Search Item History
Admin CP -> VbPlaza -> Search Users

I went through them all and I can't find the on or off button for giving. :(

I'm having the same problem too. I don't have Admin CP -> vbPlaza -> Manage Options -> Awareness Ribbons either. Weird.

It looks like it says Items in ur admin cp, try going to Items.

Under Manage Items at the end under the subtopic "misc. options", I have "give gifts" or "awareness ribbons". Both are set to active, yet people aren't able to give ribbons to others, only buy for themselves.

No, click on Give Gifts to edit the Give Gifts option itself, at the bottom u'll see some Optional settings. Thats the options u r looking for at the very bottom.
