I have this user on my site that scored 3290 points playing the Yahtzee game.
To the best of my knowledge, this score is higher than the theoretical maximum.

Are there any security vulnerabilities in ibproarcade or the scoring system that anyone is aware of? Are there any ways to cheat in this particular game or alter the score that is submitted? I've sent the user a PM asking how he managed to score higher than the theoretical maximum but I have not received a response.

Some of the older games can have false scores by having games open in two windows when you submit apparently.

I have the same problem. I have over 200 games loaded, so it is really hard to track what is new and what is old. In fact, how am I to tell what is considered old and what is new. I have a user that gets scores in the millions in Tetris... but if you normally play it, by the time you get to around 25K, the bars drop so fast, it is impossible for the human eye to see it. If this double browser cheat is true, how and what do others do to prevent this. Perhaps there is a list of games that are vulnerable to this cheat action? I really need help, cause I have a pile of users that are complaining, but there is nothing I can do except zero the scores occasionally. But that person comes right back and bangs through 20 or so games and gets scores that is impossible to beat... Please help!!!

Download as a PHPNuke... unzip it. You have to create a xxx1.gif and a xxx2.gif of the xxx.gif file. I use ACDSEE and change the size on xxx1.gif to 20x20 and xxx2.gif to 50x50 so it stays the same size as others. Upload those .gifs to the .../arcade/images, upload the .swf to the .../arcade folder and at your adminCP under Arcade, add it!

Not too difficult when you do it a few times. The hard part is creating/resizing the .gif files. Good luck!

Am i doing something wrong. I have set up two tournaments and cant get them going? How do you play in them and get the party started?

Ummm... that link won't work since we are not registered on your forum. You would have to open it up to the public or forget. Folks on here aren't going to register on your forum just to see your issue.

As far as the tournaments... they never worked properly for me and if anyone weeds back through this thread you'll see that the issues get a deaf ear... I told my users to stay away from the tournaments until someone resolves the major issues...

You would do it through whatever FTP program you used to upload the files and folders, like Filezilla or whatever your prefered program is. They all have different ways of doing it, I believe, but in something like Filezilla, you right click on a folder and select File Attributes. Then you enter in 777 or 0777. This makes the folder readable AND writable. Look around in your controls for something along those lines.

Had gotten this installed a long time ago... I am installing it on my 3.7 board now... Well, it's installed, I'm just changing it to fit my exact needs now (Layout wise)... ok installed. how do i get my homepage to direct me to the arcade. on my homepage www.gsx-rforum.com i click in the nav bar arcade it shows a error . i do have vBadvanced CMPS v3.0 RC2 installed...

but when i go to forum and click teh nav bar the arcade comes up. how can i get it to come up on the front page also..

i think i had same problem and fixed it like this
i went to vbadvanced default settings
in vb admin control
then in global settings
find navbar replacements
in here i typed arcade?
and it fixed my problem
maybe it will fix yours

I have recently installed Vbadvanced and now when you get a highscore instead of redirecting you to submit it it redirects to my Vbadvanced page anyone know how to sort that?

I am having trouble getting it to work. I installed it, but when I click on the Arcade link on the navbar, it brings me to a database error page. I've uploaded everything to wear it was needed to be and I edited the templates that the instructions told me to do. Why am I getting this error?
