let's try and work this post out.

why would you upload the product from root when the product isn't within the root folder?

Cheers for the other answers. Erm, well i spent some time reading this thread....and...somewhere that phrase stuck in my head, and I could have sworn it was in the install file. Could just be me going insane.:cross-eyed: Which is very possible, as I recently did a dual upgrade of vBulletin and vbDrupal, so I'm going slightly nuts.

Either way, this app is looking fantastic, and I'm looking forward to releasing it to my users when the next release comes out!

Actually i did. This is what is there now:

chdir("/home/karaokes/public_html/groups/");

Tried several different paths but nothing seemed to work. I would really love to use this product. Please advise.

This doesn't really classify as a bug, but when a thread is clicked, it always goes to the start of the thread, instead of the last viewed post like on the regular forums. Is it doable to change that? I don't know my php well enough to change it myself.

More of a wish, it would be nice if you could subscribe to threads in groups just like in the main forums and access the threads directly from the user cp. Probably much more involved than is possible, though.

Double post prevention? Could you disable this, then, please. vBulletin has adequate tools for this built in, and I have no desire to prevent people making two posts when they want to.

If you're talking about flood limit control, it doesnt work like that.

I did indeed mean posts. how parrots came into it is beyond me. but again i need more information. are they your posts or other posts? what are the usergroup settings?

disable double post prevention huh? i'll give some thought into making it an option.

please note: the release of the next version is awaiting feedback from this thread.

Thanks for fixing some of the issues, sabretooth. I notice the original package hasn't been updated - will you be making these fixes available? Thanks.

I posted 11, and you've addressed 3 - any chance you could look at the other 8? Thanks! :)

if i missed em please report em.

My concern with hacks (I would love to add this one!) is the frequent updates of the vBulletin software. Will hacks like this one work under next updates/upgrades?

for the first one, i'll definitely see about increasing usability. as for the second though, it really depends on demand, personally i don't see the logic in thread subscriptions for groups but you're more likely to get that usability as a separate add-on than part of the stock product as this stage.

indeed it will/would and should any conflicts arise they'll definitely be fixed in as short a time as possible.
