it works to the version 3.6.2?

i just did all the template edits, uploaded all the files - wen't to install the product and got this:

Could not find phrase 'vbplaza_functions_vbplaza_not_uploaded'.

I'm using vb 3.6.2 - Hope someone could help out on this one!

All the info is simply pulled from the directory. So, go into the gifts directory and rename any of the files you want different gift names for, delete gifts you don't want, and upload any other gifts you do want.

Hi, could anybody tell me if they have got this working on VB3.6.2 from a fresh install ?

From my experiance on some boards , There are problems and on some there are none.
For the 3.6

The product will not install on my 3.6.2 board. All i get is Could not find phrase 'vbplaza_functions_vbplaza_not_uploaded'.

Something of a bug: Can't edit Ribbons in vbPlaza Ribbons > Manage Ribbons. There is no error message, it just doesn't change anything. The only way I've found to edit them is to directly edit the vbplaza_ribbonitem table using phpmyadmin. I haven't tried any of the other vbPlaza Ribbon options yet so I don't know if they're working or also buggy.

has the bug been fixed for it to be able to work on firefox? ( the glow anf what not)

That isnt a bug. FF doesn't support glow.

I added this to my forum, but whenever I try to go to any of the drop down menu options (Lottery, Give Gifts, Give Ribbons, etc) it says:

Your usergroup does not have permission to purchase vbPlaza Options.

are there any other custom gifts I might could check out? What is the exact size allowed for making the gifts and ribbons?

Check the other gifts you got from the zip.It should be that size.
You could check out more gifts probablly in the graphics section of this site, probablly...Really just depending on what your site is , and what are you going to use the gifts for
Example: if you were a car site, different type of car gifts.

Exactly. That seems to be the most likely answer, as countless others have installed this without issue.

Personally I would reload my latest backup of the DB. This hack is GREAT, but still has dozens of bugs. And CMX = MIA, so...

As for re-installing, that is up to you, but I'd make sure my DB backup is current. I think that there are so many options/variables with this hack that it works for some and not others. I have disabled nearly every feature and had to change EVERY expiration to none in order to get it to work right.

Just discovered the same problem here now..
The input field on change user title/username/others user title are gone..
But the rest of the options seems to work fine..

Same problem on both vb 3.6.1 and 3.6.2...

hehehe... answered this a couple of times... You don't "give" ribbons. You just buy them for yourself to display. ;)

What I ment was that input fields there are gone the same way as the option to enter the username for Give Ribbons... ;)

Not really sure what could be causing that. I only allow changing others title and seems to be working here... sorry about my confusion.

Problem:

When a user buys a usergroup change, and he changes his email, after he confirms it, he is put into the old usergroup, not the one upgraded to with vbplaza.

When someone wins in the arcade they don't get there points, I have turned on all the options in vbplaza but still not working, I am using 3.6.2, can anyone please help me

After I upgraded, in the AdminCP, my vbPlaza Gifts, and vbPlaza Maintenance options are staying opened, how can I fix this so they stay collapsed when I go to AdminCP? Thanks!

WHT THIS MEAN

1) Upload all of the files/folders in the UPLOAD folder to your forum's root folder.

WHEER WILL BE MY FORUM ROOT DIRECTORY

It means upload all the files in the uploads folder to your forum root directory. aka your forum folder on your web server.

example: if http://www.domain.com/forum/ <-- = URL in coding terms
usr/httpdocs/forum/ <-- = PATH..
c:\network\apache2\httpdocs\forum\ <-- = PATH

when you upload to the root of a directory it means your uploading the contents of the uploads directory to the begining of the specified directory.

In this case, your forum root, so if you FTP to your server you would follow the PATH to where your forum folder is located on your server, and upload the files there.

Can someone help me out... how do we set it so members have to purchase avatars and profile pix, but can't upload them free? In usergroups I disabled them, and they can buy them, but now they don't show. If I enable in usergroups, they show after they buy them, but members can upload free from usercp. Thanks

i just realized that this VBUX hack combine with the interactive profile hack by visionscript causes huge queries in the member profile.. it adds 4-7 queries each comment in their profile... Does somone else have this problem? im sure whoever uses vbux with visionscripts interactive profile will have the same problem... anyone know how to fix this???

How do you integrate Ibproarcade with VbPlaza, I uploaded the addon from the 1.5.8 package and I enabled arcade feature in VbBux control panel but I still can not seem to integrate Ibproarcade and VbPlaza. any suggestions?

anyone else can verify this please... turn on debug mode and make sure u got vbux and interactive profile (visionscript) installed and post a comment to see if u guys get 2 queries for every comments posted...

i just realized that 1 of the vbux plugin called "vbBux / vbPlaza - Postbit Gift Construction" is conflicting with member;s profile page by adding 2-4 extra uneeded queries.. can someone look into this plugin and fix it please..
