i actually may know what the problem is....

i have this addon called vB.Sponsors

in this addon i had an issue with it yesterday because it has a chdir directive..

Yeah that is it demo, that's the cause. Unfortunately I don't know if anything can be done about that, you will have to contact the author of that plugin and ask for advice.
