how bout an automatic pm telling users they have gotten credit, we have this siet so we only give it out for certain things

I'm a fairly new forum owner on VB and this whole 'buying and selling' items at a fictional 'store' is intriguing. These items, are they able to be created by me on a photo program? Also, will they actually have some kind of use? I mean, are you just buying fictional items just for fun or will there be some ability to let them do some kind of fuction? Thank you. :)

users get PMs when they are donated to or awarded via posts. if it is not sending PMs, set a userid in the Sender Userid setting in the options. (usually 1 for the main admin). this has been in there since 1.0 :-p

Yes, although theres a variety of stuff you can eventually sell, but most will probably want an icon of some sort. Also, my itemshop will have programmable items, so they can have a use (there are some predefined types such as "paid subscription" "postbit icon" etc. Also please note that vbcredits is not an itemshop, but the addon I am building still is, vBCommerce

i think it'll be called spam then as users get credit for everyaction
but i would suggest better..
users shoud get pm for each 500/1000/5000 points and we can set manually for each usergroup that option.

I'm currently moving our site onto our new web server, this will improve speed issues we've been having. I'll try and have it backup asap. We'll also be doing a style update as well.
