vBSocial Notifications 7.1 Lite Released:

We listened to your bug reports using the new bug tracker (not created by us but it is awesome). Your feedback has been critical to improving the systems.

We wish a Happy New Years to everyone, especially, those who have helped contribute bugs and suggestions.

We do know their is a slight lag at interval time. This occurs with any ajax system. There are ways around this and we are still experimenting. We solved the ajax scrolling issue by identifying when you scroll, to reset the ajax timer. However user typing in vBulletin occurs in iframes, and we can't talk to them the same way as scrolling.

That being said, we are starting to brainstorm vBSocial 8.0, and the types of features and user friendly improvements that will come.

*RTL is not part of vBSocial Notifications 7.1, but it does support foreign languages and symbols.

Not a fan of having to pay $60 to disable the thanks system that comes with the mod, it's completely screwing up site functionally by overlapping the one we've had for a year now.

Guess we'll never have a chance to actually try the mod, regardless of how excited our users would have been...as we were planning to purchase the mod once we got it to function as we would have liked.

so with the lite version you cant disable the thanks part of it now that is crap as i too use another mod for that i use DragonByte Tech: Advanced Post Thanks / Like (Lite and want to keep it,it does seem expensive and you`ve still got to have there copywrite and link in the footer unless you buy lifetime option at a shocking $299 witch is more than the vbulletin software itself but i may test again when i`ve heard more feedback on the 7.1

Can I use this mod on a different skin and use Borboles Page making mod to use for advertiser and affiliate pages?

Different Skin: Should be possible if it's default-based, but in case it's not there's a custom theme installation guide somewhere on the site. I forgot where it is though.
