I understand its bad form to put links to game sites in this thread but I was able to find a bunch for mine.

On the other hand, I only have about 20 so it could be that people with 100's are falling short of finding what they need.

Well I've sorted out the style issue, but the scoring thing is really starting to get on my nerves..

if you all use the support-forum for requests, bug-reports ect. I can sort it out and answer it more easy ...

I have recently installed this and its working perfectly with my site.

One very small detail though is that when i integrated it with vbadvanced I get two welcome headers i.e.

This is the only page this occurs on. Could you tell me if there might be something in the php or templates i can edit to remove the second smaller welcome back bar?

I also notice i have two footer bars as well.

I've had this installed and running on my site for a long long time now with no complications. Today though, I wanted to install 2 new games and the latest update for the Arcade, I am currently running ibProArcade v2.6.3+ , using SMARTFTP that I had to re-download today and it is in AUTO mode with PASV checked. I've uploaded the two new games and I keep getting the following errors when trying to add them to my arcade through the control panel :

Warning: unpack() [function.unpack]: Invalid format type p in /arcade/functions/tar.php on line 750

Warning: fread() [function.fread]: Length parameter must be greater than 0 in /arcade/functions/tar.php on line 794

Error in TAR-Archive. Please upload again.

I've seen this error in isolation more than once but the games install despite the wrror message.

For the other issues, you should post in the support forum, per instructions in the thread starter.

I've found the problem and it was because my server recently switched over to .php5 . I had to add an .htaccess file with the command line of :

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php4 .php

in it in order for it to handle adding new games under the php4 method. Is this going to be a bug fix in an upcoming version ?

I haven't yet upgraded to PHP5 and as I said I get that error fairly frequently duing game installation. I'm not convinced it's a PHP5 issue.

Just tried that and it messed our board up horrendously :(

haha, let that come out first. Who knows what mods will work on 3.7 :rolleyes:

I was told by the server staff about the upgrade to PHP5 and how to add the .htaccess file , and it fixed the error on my board. Don't know what the issue may be with yours, but luckily for me , that was the issue with mine.

tried reading through this huge thread so bear with me.
some of my games won't record scores since upgrading to v3.6.8 but alot of the older games still do. my bigger problem is when you go to submit your scores and return to the arcade it takes you back to the cmps portal page instead of to the arcade itself. any ideas? I appreciate all the excellent help on this board

You're welcome. I had trouble with the zip files too, but since I had so few of them I just didn't bother. Let me know if you find a solution.
If you're using vBAdvanced there's a special code you need to add. Check the instructions. If that's not it, I can't help you. You might try posting in the support forum. Blessings.

thanks for responding. not using vbadvanced just the usual vb 3.6.8 alot of games stopped recording high sclores after the change to 3.6.8 and the flip to cmps instead of the arcade room I think that has always done that
