Actually I Want The Arcade Button In My Navigation Bar.plz Help!!!

Sometimes, in custom skins, the navbar links are actually in the header template. Not sure if that is the case here but its something to check out.

Real stuck here guys...everything else done...just the error message to sort out. See previous post today.

I got 3,000 games from a member on here and a german vb.org staff was offering 17,000 for a certain ammount of money aswell :]

getting this error when i try to upgrade.

When I click on Arcade in AdminCP I get

Fatal error: Class 'db_driver' not found in /home/fhlinux169/............................../admincp/arcade.php on line 43

Everything else installed as per instructions. Anybody? PLEASE....I'd love this mod...

I had the same problem. It started doing that after I installed my VBadvanced portal.

For me, the fix directions were in the unzipped PbProArcade folder, under INFO - vbadvanced or another Portal.txt

I had to copy paste code from there into my index file, then everything started working the way it should.

Is it legal to have these flash games on your site i mean you dont risk getting sued or anything?

That all depends on the game doesnt it? Some are GPL/Free, some arent.

I was contacted by the creator of a game because he hadnt been asked if it was ok to change his code (I didnt change it I just put the game on my site).

He was happy with me leaving the game if I referenced the author in the game description, which of course I did. So praise again to Michael Tuohy for his Jet Set Willy: New Adventures in Sci Fi game.

My advice is if in doubt dont install the game, or at least ask the forum that you downloaded it from if they have permission to redistribute the game.

Oh, and dont ask where to download games, search in Google ;)

The administrator has disabled playing games for your usergroup. This is what I am getting have no idea but I can see the game page at least. It would be nice if someone would come along and answer some questions on how to fix this stuff ;)

You Must Set the Permissions For Each Usergroup Via Control Panel, in

Arcade -> Group Permissions

There you can Set for Each Group the Level of Permissions You'd Like to Grant Them!! ;)

(You're Getting that Message because Permissions are Seto to "Can view but not play", you must set it to "Can view and play" for your usergroup)!! :p

It gives me a error in the admin sorry but I can see it but nothing in admin seems to work anyway after install I had to wipe out my whole forums messed something up. LOL I am a newbie

Can anybody tell me which style variable ibProArcade uses for the borders around the game descriptions?

I'm talking about the white ones as on this page: http://www.majorleaguetalk.com/forums/arcade.php


I dont' have any table borders set to white in the style variables so I'm wondering where Arcade gets these colors. White is is a bit 'loud' in my color scheme and I don't know where to change it.

It's driving me nuts. I know where the white color doesn't come from... it doesn't come from any of the style variables that set some of my vbulletin elements to white.

I found a small error. Whenever you try to edit a game, it automatically sets background color of the game to 000000 (black). Even if you change it, it still submits it as black... Help please?

enable the debug-mode (open /arcade.php and check the first lines for $DEBUG) and then tell me the extended error-message when error comes up again

Not 100% sure, but take a look at the skin_Arcade.php file. I had to modify that file to adjust the borders in the Tournaments listing. :)

I've looked in that file and every other file I could think of and just can't find where that color is specified. I think this is probably something only MrZeropage can answer. I'm beginning to believe that this color is NOT specified anywhere and simply defaults to white.

It's difficult trying to find something like this in thousands of lines of code.

OK. I got it figured out.

AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Main CSS (from drop down)

Additional CSS Definitions

Added this:

The #60789c color can be anything you want. You lose the rounded borders but I can live with that. This does change the color globally. In Vbulletin, fieldset is used to draw borders in various places such as userCP area and others so color choice may be a compromise.

I just figured out the arcade is using arcade.php most of the time (which i rewrite using vbseo to some other url btw. but that's not the problem) - unfortunately it uses /index.phg?act=arcade... after result submission.

Is there any special reason for that or any way around? reason why i ask is cause i wrap a vba cmps page around my forums for a sidebar and on result pages of the arcade i get all the stuff doubled as it wraps there (breadcrumb, sidebar (one from arcade, one from vba) which totally crashes my layout.

Any ideas how to come around this?

I have a problem. The moderation drop down link doesnt work when I enabled this hack. Basically Moderators are only able to delete/undelete select/deselect. They could no longer move, merge, close threads. Any insights?

i downloaded this and there are no install instructions just upgrade. can ya help me out. i got everythign added except not sure which templates to update and i have arcade in my admicp but it is blank.. can ya guide me in the right direction

When I have a tournment going it is now making a person the winner and posting it on both sides showing that they will be playing against themselves the next round. Also on some will post that they are playing 2-3 slots.
Hopefully someone can help me here.

Is there a way to limit the number of icons shown in the postbit? I have one user who wins everything but the postbit for them is huge.. I want to limit the number of won games to say 10?

I think there is an option to make that into a scrolling banner type thing under the arcades main options in the ACP

There also may be a choice to say how many is shown there.

before i install this is there still plenty of games for it about - also what happened to vb3Arcade or what ever it was called - is that not going these days and finally which is best ?
