Ok thanks, that is fine I actually found a free Joomla links directory that will do just what I need so once I bridge Joomla & vBulletin I'll be set anyways. Thanks for answering :)

The latest stable release of vBSSO WordPress (Version 1.2.10) is available at http://vbsso.com/platforms/wordpress/

* Added support of cross-domain single-sign on in Internet Explorer.
* Fixed warning when wigdet had empty title.
* Fixed a possibility to save an empty Shared Key.
* Fixed an issue when sometimes user could not be created.

If I am logged in on the master vBulletin system and navigate the the slave vBulletin system, do I need to take any action to be recognized and logged in, or does it act like a remembered session on the salve system (if it were stand alone)?

I would really like to use our iMIS membership management system to provide the authentication and global login with the vBsso and the other client interfaces providing recognition and activation of the local account on each system.

Is this system flexible enough to do that?

I just did a global password reset on vBulletin due to several users simple passwords becoming compromised. Users can still login properly for Joomla, all except admin who try to access the admin panel. How do we update the password for the admins?

UPDATE: so I tried the old password and that worked fine, so I'm assuming the administrator passwords are stored in a different table then the regular user ones. Should these be linked? Or do they have to be changed manually?

I should also note that is is linking vBulletin with Joomla.

When I try to login through wordpress it gives me a "wrong password" error. When I try to log out through wordpress I get caught in some sort of redirection loop.

Is this a known issue?

I only intend to use my wordpress installion for Woocommerce and AWPCP classifieds and not a blog and so logging in will be via those platforms.

Could you please contact support team http://vbsso.com/report-an-issue/ describing the steps you use to reproduce your case on your website.

Thank you,

When vbsso is enabled and platform is connected the password will be reset only for vBulletin.
To reset password separately for each platform they have to be disconnected.

vBSSO is currently not compatible with vBulletin 5.x, but we do expect a supportive release for vBulletin 5 in the future.
