Ok, I think I found the problem... it looks like it is not completing the file. How do I fix this?

Jack Black,

the load is added when sitemap is being generated and that depends on how often do you schedule this task and how much URLs are there included in sitemap.

chauy,
you should simply enter "abc" in admincp options (not the full URL like you specified).

could you please clarify, which file is not completed in your case?
As I see, you have only 2919 URLs, which fits in one sitemap file (sitemap_1.xml.gz). You should not expect to see sitemap_2.xml.gz until the number of URLs exceeds the limit per file you set (default is 20,000).

Hi iojam

Thank you for replying. Apparently it did successfully complete its task last night and I now have a log showing that it was sent to Google. :) My question that needed clarification is the last three lines of the screen dump from executing the program manually through telnet does not seem to be a normal reaction (prog_map_lookup(scriptfilter): child died on signal 25) is this a normal exit process of this program?

Thank you for your time.

JoeWho,

SaN-DeeP,

you can create an add-on module for vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap Generator to include these URLs in sitemap.

SaN-DeeP 04-27-2006 11:08 AM

hello Oleg
can you provide some hints for same ? xenons archive have millions of pages like vbulletin default archive.

Rude Awakening 04-27-2006 03:44 PM

Hey iojam I know I did something absolutely stupid. I try to access the report tool and get an internal server error. I already ran the script using the "run now" button in the task scheduler so I know that portion is working fine, but I cant access anything else.

Like I said it's something small and stupid I'm missing but relieve me of my misery :)

Already Clicked Install ;)

SaN-DeeP,

you can use addons/vbseo_sm_vba.php file (included in package) as example.

THANK YOU Oleg.

Excellent support and definitely went out of his way to help me out. With the quick solving and great support that I got, I've decided to buy the full vBSEO once I get home tonight :)

Thanks again!
