I also have problems with the user detail page for my members.

You are the best. Thank you very much for doing this. :)

Excellent Hack - Thanks futureal!!

One question.. until the score group section is fully working, what's the easiest way to reset the high scores?

Martin64 01-13-2003 06:36 PM

Upgraded, lost 2000+ scores, and now I'm holding a little contest to encourage people to play. Like 50% of the people in my who's online are viewing the arcade. Seems to work. 1.8M Tetris score already.

Thanks for this nice hack. :)

Hmmm, now it's working, odd....:confused:

I'm just wondering, does it sound like this user cheated:

"Tetris Statistics
Times Played: 1
Time Spent Playing: 92 Minutes, 2 Seconds
Average Game Duration: 0 Minutes, 5 Seconds
Most Recent Game: January 13th, 2003 at 4:49 pm
Highest Score: 1,820,828
Lowest Score: 1,820,828
Average Score: 1,820,828
Unique Comments: 1
Random Comment: That took me all afternoon (at work! hehe)"

If he has played only once, how can the average game duration be 5 seconds? Also, the total time spent playing is 92 minutes.

*confused*

now , being a flash rookie - is this enough info to be able to start adding our own games because I really want to add flash casino games in there , I've posted that all over these forums with no luck.

unfortunatly not my friend, im a flash designer....what u have right there, is useless to you in trying to design your own game, every game is unique and therefore the actionscript is unique also.......the only part that is of relevance is:

PHP Code:

vpaver "100B";
snakescore score;
action "gameover";
game gamename;
score_loc location "/proarcade.php";
getURL(score_loc"_self""POST");

cuz thats what goes into our DB.......i would be able to configure most of these games if i could figure out that dang "score" bit......

Peace

A casino type game would be fun, if you did a top scorer by who had the most money :)

I'll just pull the variables from my postbit templates for now, but it would be cool if there was a way of fixing this. :)

Anyone have any idea how to fix this while still being able to use the crown and text in the postbit?

Maybe not... For some reason the Average Game Duration part isn't working for Tetris on my site either. :ermm:
They did make that score pretty quickly though. It took me 140 minutes to score 1.5 million (and I messed up w/ 60 lines left, so I could have gone longer).
