I just installed this and have run the "Sitemap Generator" and no-errors... but I do not get a report list (Sitemap Generator History) on "vbseo_sitemap/index.php?rlist=true"

Did I miss something? Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I would really like to use this hack, but as soon as I add

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^(sitemap.*\.(xml|txt)(\.gz)?)$ vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_getsitemap.php?sitemap=$1 [L]

to my .htaccess I get an forbidden 403 error on all my vbulletin pages.

What could be the problem here?

make sure that you have set correct permissions for vbseo_sitemap/data/ folder (0777) and re-generate the sitemap.

I'm getting tons of emails daily with the notification that the sitemap has been uploaded to Google. Weird, since I have set up in 'scheduled tasks' to be execute this script only once at 2 AM?

[edit] I should have read this topic a little bit more careful: I had the minutes on *, instead of (for example) 0. Thanks for the help :D

I had the same problem when I first installed it. Do you have the "Minute" selected also? That was my problem...you need to set the hour and the minute.

Ok, I doubled checked and the folder "data" is set to "0777" (vbseo_sitemap/data/) What did I miss... It makes the files "sitemap.txt.gz & sitemap_1.xml.gz" BUT... it only makes the "sitemap_1", after running for several days it should make sitemap_2 & sitemap_3 yes?

Also the html report screen reads version 1.5, it should read 1.6.1 or do I have the wrong files?

I would like to install this, but i am a bit of a novice when it comes to .htaccess
I have .htaccess on my main root, but my forum is on a subdomain which apparently doesn't have an .htaccess file on it (if it does i can't find it). Presumably i would need to add one to the subdomain?
