Actually I just checked and the new 2.0.2 chatbox is not working well at all on the iPhone. Can anyone else confirm this?

I will say this also:

I think the bolded text in the branding is a bit much. Many of us (including vBulletin) refrain from using bolded text. Your branding is currently the loudest piece of text on my home page.

Maybe just use italics or something to be more consistent with the other products we may have installed (vB, vBA)?? I think it's prominent enough without the bold. It's almost impossible to see the chatbox without seeing your branding anyway.

Yeah I know I am going to minimize it :)

Uninstalled and re-installed the 1.1.0. Stuck with the Loading...

I think new version will be out by the end of the week.

Most of all the things I wanted to add along with the bug fixes is done. It's now depending of the time I'll have due to new year's eve ;)

Just an FYI.
Out of 20 + Themes, the ChatBox only works somewhat with one so far.

Also, When clicking on the New Posts/Threads, could you have the link take you to the Lastpage/LastPost rather than the firstpage/firstPost?

Why is some of my chatbox in French or what ever it is.

I updated the language file as per instructions.

Anyone?

Those are options totally customizable by yourself if you navigate through the options.

well the theme I was using when I installed the chat, I had it working to a degree. What I mean by that is, it would quit refreshing by itself, yet it showed the chat, people in the chat and the new threads and posts. but we are aware of that issue.

However with most the other themes it would just sit there loading and not work at all, if you clicked on any icon in the chat, the page would jump and nothing further would happen.
Strange to say the least.

I am running (vBulletin 3.6.8 Patch Level 2)
I have added the SECURITY=o; to all the .js files, and I have removed "customavatar.height_thumb AS avheight_thumb, customavatar.width_thumb AS avwidth_thumb, customavatar.filedata_thumb," from 2 files 3 instances. To stop the database errors. just to get it to load on one theme anyways.

I cannot find them in the options on how to change the language to English.

Have you imported the english language file

Resolved the problem.

I imported the new language file and re-uploaded the xml product file and its now English.

I have uninstalled all files and through the admincp, reinstalled and I can confirm that the chatbox works only on the theme that I was currently using during the time of the install, and just shows loading on all other themes, with the problem of the page jump when clicking on any of the chatbox icons as well.

I don't know if its a cookie issue, but its interesting that it only works on the theme that I'm using during the install. This would be why the chatbox would only work for members using the same theme that was being used by me during the install and nobody else using a different theme.

I'm not trying to be negative, Just trying to help you track down the bugs.

It's because one of your member has a huge username so all chats are align on it.

VBDev, is there any way for us to set the width of the special box for the created threads & replies? It's really small at the moment (the box). All the new replies and threads being displayed in the new box are getting cut in 2 or more lines. Wish everything to be in 1 line. Neat feature though. Thanks!

Btw, bug found. You know the button to see the active users in the chat box? Try to click in when you have the special box in the right enabled. You'll see a huge box opening with the users online in the chat box. I don't think this is normal.

For the database error, it's fixed in the next version.

For the javascript errors, seems like in those style javascripts are not taken into account.
Could you register the source code of the page and attach it as text file here ?

The dropdown menu does show for me with this version of opera and latest shouts at the bottom.

Is there any way to make Save the default when you hit enter in the box that pops up to send a PM in the chat box? Right now, you have to click on Save - if you click enter after typing your message, the box closes but it is not sent.

O.K. I have found the reason why the ChatBox will only work with ONE theme. :D

For some reason this template mgc_cb_evo is not being removed during the UNINSTALL and/or is not being updated with a fresh install or update.

I have 2 problems.

The box is not refreshing and I and others have to refresh our page (F5) and messages popup. I have set the refresh rate and its set to automatic but its still not doing it, was in the begining.

Also while the chatbox was trying to refresh I had the below error show up (see attachment).

Any ideas?

You just have to upload files and import product :)

Also having a couple of problems with the new version, can't get the chat box to show on my online.php page, nor on my photoplog, whereas it worked fine with the earlier version. Running 3.7.2 Patch Level 2 with vBSEO 3.2.0 RC8.

The channel markers now don't flash to indicate unread messages either.
